He was doubled up on like usual today but there was one moment in the first half where we managed for once to move the ball really quickly over to him for him to have a one on one. For some reason he smashed it straight back over to Mavadidi's side where nearly all the players were still, straight over everyone's heads and put it straight out of play. Brainless!

Again we looked like we were blowing out of our backsides after about an hour and the team looked like they'd been on the lash constantly over the festive period. What's crazy is we signed Vieites that on paper is probably the most obvious choice to be at least pushing Jacob. We at first thought he wasn't registered but made the bench once so that can't be true and we haven't seen him since! What's the point of him? It's like Coulibaly - signed and then binned. I agree with what you're saying but when it's comes down to a single moment like Southgate, Gerrard slip, Baggio etc it's impossible not to link the loss with that moment despite how good they may have been previously.

Tbf, it's very rare that you can pin something as big a s relegation on one player but that penalty miss really did mean we were relegated because of it. Danny Ward someone else you could say confidently was an individual cause for relegation, but over a longer period.

This is massively concerning. It's a bit like that famous quote of there being other life in the universe - there either is or isn't and both answers are equally as frightening. We have two scenarios here. Either this ridiculously run club have been foolish and heartless enough to change a pay date at such short notice, at Christmas, without any thought or empathy. Or we are in such a mess financially our hand has been forced with no other option. Both scenarios harrowing. Id imagine there'd be parents waiting on the money for the main presents for kids.
