  1. There's usually a hotdog van in-between the carpark and the stand. A bit expensive but really nice. I'd be very surprised if it isn't there today.
  2. Kingy needs the balls to drop Faes, Winks and Soumare and have them no where near the squad. They should have been ushered through a back door on the first day back and training on their own. We've got Hamza, Nelson and Braybrooke who can replace them like for like. Seeing Winks and Soumare start against Peterborough with the clown Faes behind them is the same old sh*t different season.
  3. I'm getting back into running and it's so difficult at first. Back in lockdown I managed to get down to about 22 minutes 5K and I was aiming to get a sub 20, then I had an injury and I've never really made it back anywhere near that. Right now I'm struggling to hit 35 mins! Just did a parkrun and it's soul destroying having OAPs overtaking you and knowing you've got nothing left in the locker to chase them down! The issue with me, a running regime means an alcohol detox and diet improvement at the same time so it's like your body has been placed in a North Korean labour camp - it doesn't know what's hit it! I'm about 3 weeks in. Garmin constantly says I'm losing fitness after every run! The scales are showing no improvement. I know it takes time but mentally trying to get started is so tough.
  4. Actually you might be right. Some places saying 4th June but the OS site has him as 21st August (although not sure how much of a good source the OS is!) 21st Aug is also Big Niges's birthday.
  5. Evans turned 17 on the 4th June (last Wednesday)
  6. Pace always goes wide. Handy if you have acceleration too, still not sure he has fine tuned that part of his game. Looks best on the break out wide with acres to run into.
  7. No way he has average pace. I think this has become his best attribute. He developed massively with his pace, bit like Barnes did. I think he still struggles with confidence and the ability to use his pace for maximum damage but I think next season with slower full backs he'll be very very handy. Only issue is he'll have Fatawu and Mavadadi ahead of him but it's a long campaign so he'll get his chances. He's 100% a winger IMO, has effortless pace - not so much acceleration but when he gets going I noticed last season there was really no opponent that could keep up with him when he got into stride. I think next season could really build his confidence and we'll have a good asset on our hands for whatever 26/27 brings.
  8. Don’t blame it on the owners, Don’t blame it on the players, Don’t blame it on the gaffer — Blame it on the Rudkin!
  9. Even if we get a new manager who puts him back in the team will the fans accept him back? I can imagine a lot of damage has been done and could see some booing when his name is announced. It is it a case of a few decent performances and all is forgiven?
  10. Okay, we picked the right players. Signing BCDR and Ayew were great signings (I mean who wants to see a 15yo wonderkid playing when you've got BDCR and Ayew in the squad) Ruud was right to come in and not bring his own coaches. I've watched the Rambo franchise - you CAN be successful on your own. As for Buonanotte, yeah, he was looking alright but let's not get ahead of ourselves. BDCR looked equally as threatening. He shouldn't have changed things on the record breaking losing streak - Faes could have turned into Maldidni at any point and it was always on for Ayew to turn into prime Ronaldo, he just needed a lucky bobble to get it all started. I do hope we don't see any of those youngsters next season. You can't win anything with youth. Thank god we still have Coady and Vestergaard still signed up and Ayew's experience leading the line. I hope Martin signs some more experienced players. Maybe we need to push the boat out a bit and use those parachute payments to really let the league know who's boss. Another Skipp type would be good in midfield.
  11. First and foremost I just want to have a manager that gets more of the simple decisions right than wrong and works on bringing the right culture to the club. Cooper got Buonanotte looking like a world beater but persisted with BDCR and neglected Mavadadi and Fatawu (before he was injured) Absolute insanity. Ruud comes in without his own coaching staff, neglects Buonanotte (the one shining light) and persists with utter tripe like Soumare, Ayew, Faes etc on a record breaking losing streak!- It just goes against all logic. I don't care who the manager is next season as long as we do the following three things: 1. Have Alves, Evans, Monga, Nelson etc integrated into the squad. 2. Any deadwood still in contract are only let near the first team if they show the passion and desire we would expect. 3. Go back to the model of signing young, hungry and talented players we can make a profit on and will add something to the team. Those three things sound simple written down but what worries me is we'll probably end up doing the exact opposite.
  12. If I'm really honest, Jakub has disappointed me the last few games. So has Mads, but I'm hoping for a more commanding performance today as he's likely to be keeper next season. Jury is still out IMO.
  13. Can't seem him making a return now even if all parties want him to. Damage has been done.
  14. Setting up a poll is one of my biggest challenges in life. Too many options!
  15. Who would have sent you more mental scoring the winner?
  16. No, FB is gone. No point.
  17. The thing is most of the 'old school' come out for the bigs games all stone island up yet when it comes to it shut themselves,I was a prominent member of the ybs when we started it up,was always us young lot Avin a row,we were game as ****,hear the young lot now are(I'm 30) and av mrs and kids and don't bother anymore, pisses me off that you get the so called old school sitting in family stand with the kids in the s.i gear, yet when push comes to shove and it's gonna kick off say 'av got me kids',that's well and fine but then don't wear the clobber to say your a lad if your a has been, most so called lads ain't even as a row, gaur enter that out of 50 lads(hate it when folk say there was 200 there today)only a dozen tops will av it,the rest **** off back to the tavern and av the cheek to say they've just 'had it'!
  18. So we're playing our most talented player that could have helped us over the last 20 games, but was ultimately rejected. We then wait until nothing matters, when we could be blooding in players and you'd expect not to play him... But no.... We wait until the worst possible timing to play him that makes absolutely no sense. Well done Leicester! Absolutely mind boggling.

    Daka

Daka is probably the worst footballer I think we have in the squad. We just happened to change shape when he came on.
  20. You should not be sending a 14 year old up to take a penalty.
  21. Luqman Aideed looks like he has got something about him. Never heard of him before.
  22. Looking forward to seeing Hutchinson. Heard good things about him but haven't seen him yet.
  23. That's strange. I had a different line up.
  24. No. I think it'll be 4-0.
