They are a good team in the transition, could be really dangerous if we lose the ball in the wrong areas. We should have too much for them, but all depends on how effective we can be with the huge amounts of possession we will likely have here.

If this is true you have to assume Souttar or one of the lads short on contract length are on the way out in Jan.

Our most consistent and important player has been Vestergaard, in my opinion. He is having significant positive impact at both ends of the pitch in every game more or less. Closely followed by Winks, who is less obviously impactful, but dictates games. I’d also put Hermansen up there for the impact he has on the way we play as well as his shot stopping. Our defensive record is very good. KDH has been the deciding factor in some games, and looks a cut above at this level. His energy has been really key at times.

Alves to get some minutes as an 8 soon hopefully

He is too good for this level. Would be a superb signing. He could slot into the majority of prem or European sides already.

He’s currently our best player, imo. Edging Winks due to his consistent positive impact on games.

How are we not ahead here…

LCB and Afcon cover (loan striker?) would be nice. We also need another #8 imo, though that may be Alves, hoping Braybrooke is cover for Winks also.

He is linked with Atleti and West Ham though isn’t he? Might be a struggle

He’s a kid, he’s had one superb game, a few poor games, some average. We are going to need him, and slating him after a loss helps nobody.

They are going 2 on 1 on both of our wide men, but our 2 eights have not been able to take advantage in the centre. Fair play to Farke, game plan clearly working.

It is heartening that Enzo can see the weaknesses and try to address them, unlike Rodgers. Vardy and Casadei off are the right moves here.
