Hahah my bad, VK at lb, I think Ndidi will play to add physicality, and press high up the pitch. And it’s not really a 10, sort of a high pressing 8 the way we are likely to play -

I’d take a draw. It’ll be: Mads Justin, Faes, Vesty, VK Winks, Skipp Fatawu, Ndidi, Buonanotte Vardy With Mav on the bench again to come on for Vardy. Think Buonanotte replaces Reid as the wide man who comes in as a ten. Reid didn’t have the best of starts. That said, if Ayew is in, Mav may start. -
Cheeky €30m bid now Ipswich are presumably out of the running?

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Anyone had a go at the 25 man squad? Is always a good insight into how many we are likely to bring in -
How many signings will we make before the end of the transfer window?
FoxesWalk replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
Three. 1) Ayew 2) Nelson on loan 3) A striker -
He’s been their captain multiple times before, probably just a regular game and they’ve priced him out of a move
-
Just wait until the two are Andros Townsend and Benteke for a combined £60m, both on 5y deals for 120k a week
-
That we want to get 2 more attackers in before the window closes, on top of Ayew
-
Encouraging from Percy, those 2 new attackers need to be a 1st choice striker and 1st team ready creative midfielder realistically
-
Or the £4m Percy reported a few days ago…
-
So *checks notes* Edmund Brack of some obscure online newsletter targeting London clubs generally, is now a better source than Percy? Percy says £4m this bloke we have never heard of says £8m, and we are trusting the latter? Im gonna go ahead and assume he is wrong and farming clicks.
-
Tbf it’s a fair number of them wishing him well and saying he’ll prove our fans wrong… seems popular there
-
Who do you think knows more, this random bloke or Percy, who said our bid is half that?
-
Is that guy even a z tier source? Fee is likely complete bollocks. Something to moan about though I guess. Didn’t Percy say we were interested at half that price?
-
Doubt we can afford him, will be more than Fotis, and he wants CL football…
-
Another top signing for Ipswich imo, got some very solid CBs with him added to the mix alongside Greaves
-
Ipswich spending like crazy, guess you might as well give it the best go possible in their position, many of those signings will help them in a promotion bid should they need to do that again.
-
It’s this. It is not a coincidence that his injury issues paused when he became a midfielder, I forget who did the media but it was covered at the time: full backs have such a physically demanding job in the game now with ground covered, dynamic movements, and the number of big tackles, changing his role helped to protect his body. If he is a regular right back again it’s only a matter of time before the next big injury. Especially in this league, with the pace and power of the game.

Also a fan of Latte Lath, most impressed I was by an opponent last season, he will go on to be a PL striker imo. -
He’s too short
-
The fee is stupid but he’ll be handy I’m sure, as a third choice forward and to cover other forward positions. If it’s anything other than backup to Vardy and another striker (a new, first choice striker), then this is pretty concerning. He is versatile and hard working, but too old for the fee and the contract we will likely offer him. I just hope he is coming in as a squad player and another striker is coming.
