Addidas designer range by Yohji Yamamoto. Normally pretty expensive and sometimes a bit OTT in the design of trainers and clothing.
-
Also a bit of chat from 10.45 onwards in the show about Fan behaviour and ticket prices in Scotland. Probobly similar issues in England. .

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001xjyc/a-view-from-the-terrace-series-6-episode-15 18 minutes into show, a bit about Steve and what he's doing at Aberdeen. There's 2 pictures from Italia 90 with some his mates, blimey they look so young.

Bit the bullet last night and bought a Swiss v Scotland ticket from an online agency. I wish I'd done it a few months ago when they were a bit cheaper. Anyway , these tournaments don't come around too often so assuming I havnt been scammed at least I get to see 1 live game during the 2 weeks im in Germany.

Super Saturday in the 6 nations tomorrow and I fancy a rake of guiness to see me through. 👍
-
Each to their own but I think it looks horrendous when matched with the shorts and socks. The yellow lines and addidas badge spoils it for me, plus £75 for the top....... I'll keep my money in my pocket.

I know nothing about horses but saw I had a free £5 bet offer with PP at 330pm. Wasn't worth putting it on El fabiolo so took Cpt Guinness at 15/2. I chickened out and put it E/W, so still returned £23. I'm happy as Larry 😄

Wornock gets his 1st win and books us a semi final berth. Then steps aside and leaves the club.. .. As someone has just said, " he's so brexit, the first sniff of getting into Europe and he walks" Probobly fancies a week at Cheltenham instead. See ye Neil. 👋👋

Me too. I was going to go for a ticket last week via Livefootballtickets at £280. I was about to purchase when they added an £80 processing fee. The face value was £65...... I'll stay in the fan parks and take my chances on tickets over there.

I recall seeing a short documentary about it somewhere. If I remember correctly, it was Sunday pre a bank holiday Monday, perhaps May day, and it was the last time the game was played on a weekend in either the 4pm or 630pm slot. Vidar Riseth absolutely clattered someone in the last minute. I only watch these games in the hope it turns out something like that day. Its the benchmark 🤣🤣

He's a clown. He will end up taking us down. Can't wait for the cirus to leave town, hopefully asap.

Plenty to look forward to in week 4. England Ireland should be a great arm wrestle. Italy Scotland, both will fancy their chances and like to run the ball. Wales France, a real 50/50 game.
-
France should be 0 from 3. What a drop off from last year

Brilliant win, but I hate watching the Calcutta Cup games because my nerves get shredded. Mature performance in the 2nd half for a change. The forwards fronted up against the bigger ball carrier's from England. I've got a bit more respect for Borthwick and George after their interviews. A far cry from Jones and Farrell. Sam Warburton is really good as a pundit. Actually, the level of punditry between Rugby and Football is night and day.

I was in on Saturday for the first time since the revamp. The food gets good reviews and looked really good but there's still a demand for people popping down for a couple of hours to watch some sport. The mix isn't quite right yet. A pet hate of mine since covid is tables in a bar being reserved and sitting empty, and another is having sport on but no volume. It was like that on Saturday. I had a look at the cherry porter, but stuck with the neck oil on tap instead.

I can't stand Boyd and Sutton on sky. Couple of babies trying to be smart and out do each other. ( sort of sums up Rangers v Celtic). He does talk sense at times, for example he nails the current situation at Celtic above, and he's not as Celtic blinkered as like say, Hartson. Unfortunately, he's part of this "shock jock" mentality in our football media that gathers clicks or phone calls for their current employers.

On tap? Tell me where.....😋

The dotted line colours don't match with the ones on the ground.... 🤣 Honestly, we have the cheapest version of VAR on the market.
-
At 3-3, the red player, no 9, scored from this cross. Var called it offside......really? Look at the red and blue lines. Some clubs up North are questioning value for money with VAR. They pay for the privilege and its a fair chunk of their yearly revenue.

As @Out Foxed mentioned, the White Hart is good, great beer garden in the summer. Castle Rock Brewery own Swan in the Rushes, so the beer will be good. I've not been in though.

White Hart.

Both the ref and the TMO say " I can see it grounded", then the TMO backtracks to find a way to agree with the on field decision by saying he can't find conclusive evidence to overturn. Thems the breaks I guess.

Numerous chances through the game to score from 5m out. If you can't score from them you deserve to lose. Disappointed to say the least

Masters of the Air. I've seen the first 3 episodes and it's ok. So far its nowhere near Pacific or Band of Brothers, but to be fair they were really high bars.
