Could they have been smart and launched a Vardy special edition of next seasons kit to be worn on Saturday? Or would that have been seen as a money grab?
-
The amount of jobs he's linked to makes me feel the Saints job isn't as wrapped up for him as we may have previously thought. He's definitely top 3 target for me

I really want to see Monga start, and this is the perfect game for that. Stolaryczyk JJ Coady Faes Thomas Ndidi. Skipp Monga. BEK. McAteer Vardy

Spent yesterday in East Leake at a kids birthday party, watching the match with about 8 forest fans. They were pretty happy to escape with a point at the end, think they know they have ran out of steam. Thought we showed a good account of ourselves, one of the better performances of the season and one where it looked like Ruud actually had a tactical plan, subs made a good impact too. I however, spent way too much of the match explaining that we don't care the Steve Cooper was ex-forest, we did however care that he was shit

He's pretty low down on my list but I could at least understand it. To go from Enzo to Dyche over 4 managers shows how little strategy there is at the club.

It's all well and good saying we need to move the high earners on, I imagine that's Ricardo, Vestergaard, Coady, Faes, Soumare, Ndidi, Winks, Ayew, BDCR & Daka, maybe JJ too. Problem is, we will do fantastically well to move half of those on. Even more annoying is that only 4 or 5 of those contracts were on place the last time we got relegated. I can honestly see a scenario where only Hermansen, Bilal, Soumare and Faes leave, and the latter two could easily only be loans.

With our owners, probably a good thing for someone else to do our business plan!

I've been more cautious on Monga than some on here, but I was super impressed against Southampton. For 15 years old, his decision making is super impressive, kept it simple far more than I'd of thought he would of but still attacked his full back when he had chance. I understand Ruud feels he has to protect him, but he also needs to be shown how much we value him, or he will leave. I don't agree that there's pressure at 15, not in this scenario when we are already relegated. I will be super disappointed if he doesn't start a game this season, Ipswich at home would be perfect

I was buzzing when we bought Patson, felt like we'd really gone for the perfect Vardy replacement, but he's lost a huge amount of confidence and really detached from how simplistic his game was at Salzburg. If a coach came in who just wanted someone to run in behind and get first time shots off, he may rediscover it, but feels like he will never hit the heights we thought he may. I do still think he would bag 15 goals as a first choice championship striker, but time for him to move on if we have the opportunity to do so.

All the big hitters at the club know where the bodies are buried. They won't be moved on without a change of ownership
-
Yep, the more I look into him, the more I like. Good history in youth coaching too makes you feel he'd promote academy products. Still a few questions marks but he's up there for me.
-
Quite obviously overachieving, tactically flexible. I'd be up for that...an element of risk for sure but he's better than a lot of names mentioned.

Vardy to 200 New owners Ruud leaves
-
I could 100% see us going for him
-
This is the worst nickname I've ever seen on here, and it's a low bar
-
Hope it works out for him, has never been treated fairly here, we should have sold last year. I still think if he played all season for us in 22/23, we stay up

I thought he could of played the inverted role into midfield. Gets dominated physically too often for my liking, but he's technically sound.
-
£25m to Brentford is honestly about his level right now. He's got potential to go to the very top but needs to work on a few areas first. There's a good chance in 2 or 3 seasons he goes for double that.
-
The more I look at Adriano Bertaccini at St Truiden in Belgium, the more I like. Got abit of menace about him as well as 20 goals this season. Also a big fan of right back Louis Patris on loan there from Anderlecht.
-
Freddie Woodman (back up to Stol) Alfie Gilchrist Alfie Doughty Harry Darling Lennon Miller Yuito Suzuki Kyogo Furuhashi Richard Kone I really like Yousef Salech and Kasper Hogh as CFs too
-
I like him, could see him as a really good plan B type striker to get balls into the box into.
-
He's utterly checked out of running this club. Last relegation you felt like it hurt, this season, it's just lip service.
-
What a horrifically depressing line up.
-
Basically, give the impression that we've taken things away from Rudkin, but they were never 100% his in the first place. I also love that we viewed Rohl as not experienced enough in November and then employed Ruud.

To think we repaired Yunus with Ayew or BDCR. Whilst he frustrated at times last season, you could see the talent
