  2. Reckon Ward must be a modern day Ali Dia that mysteriously never got found out. How anyone in their right mind thinks that this bloke is a professional footballer is beyond me. There's hope for us all! His movement between the sticks for that 2nd goal on Saturday is laughable. Like watching my mate in goal who can't play football whilst having a kick about down the park. Completely follows the movement of the ball rather than anticipating where the ball is likely to end up so he can fill the goal and make the save. Weird thing is, as much as I dislike him as a footballer, when you hear him speak he sounds like a really decent guy and a likeable bloke. Can only imagine that's why he's got as far as he has in his career, especially in an industry that is generally full of complete *****.
  3. Don't worry lads, if Mads is injured Vards can wheel him out in a Wheelchair as he'll still be 10x better than Ward. At least he wouldn't get nutmegged.
  4. Desperately need to bring in two new full backs in Jan as a minimum. The amount of goals we have conceded down the flanks this season is unbelievable. It's costing us far too many points and urgently needs sorting.
  5. Hermansen; Justin, Coady, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Choudhury, Skipp; McAteer, El Khannouss, Mavididi; Vardy.
  6. To be fair I think you would. Can't imagine many people would be happy having you around smelling like that 😂
  7. What I don't get about this partnership with Adidas is that probably one of their most popular product lines at the moment is their Samba trainer range yet there's absolutely no sign of any club themed variants. They don't even need to be club branded, even a blue pair with either white or yellow stripes would probably sell like hot cakes, yet instead the club shop is stacked out with complete utter garbage that looks like cheap tat but is priced like mid tier designer gear. Very odd indeed.
  8. Forest's Cooper's luck seems to have returned. How many points are they picking up from absolute dog muck defending?!? I think at best we'll finish lower half mid table (and that's being optimistic) but I can genuinely see United finishing below us. How the mighty have fallen. I hate them with a passion, but there's no way on this planet with the resources that they have at their disposal they should be outside the top 6 let alone in the bottom half. Amorim needs to completely rip that squad apart and inject some quality into it because that's the worst United side I've seen in my lifetime.
  9. Give it Wes Morgan. And here's your... Err... Leicester City side... Err... In Goal... Err... Mads Hermansen... Err... 😂
  10. Agree, however I imagine that these dodgy betting companies will simply be replaced with some similarly dodgy digital coin company given the lack of regulation around that industry.
  11. I know it's often asked how we have so drastically regressed whilst others such as Brighton and Brentford have passed us on their ascent, but the difference between Paul Barber and Jon Rudkin for instance is night and day. There's a great interview with Barber (think it's on Sky) where he talks about the inner workings of Brighton and the need for succession planning. The attention to detail from the club is incredible, literally every position from senior leadership, playing staff, coaching staff, and tea lady are planned for. It's no coincidence at all that they are capable of continuously selling off their most valuable talent and progressing. Contrast that against ourselves where we seem to be in disarray everytime a change occurs it boggles the mind. I think the most stable we have been over the past 10 years aside from under Walsh, was when Macia was pulling the strings. We actually seemed organised and prepared for playing personnel changes which limited the impact of losing our best players. I was thinking yesterday about how what we are now seeing is the legacy left behind from Rodgers, and there was a lot of talk during the appointment of Congerton about his impact on Sunderland and how he set them back year's, and to a slightly lesser extent (we at least returned back to the PL at the first attempt thanks to Enzo) the similarities are astonishing. Ultimately all of this has happened under Rudkin's watch and like any business the buck stops with the guy overseeing it all. Consequently he needs to be moved on and rather quickly based on the evidence of recent year's.
  12. I couldn't give a damn what the stats stay, I've watched and played the game long enough to know that Faes is an awful defender and should be nowhere near the first team. I guarantee the moment he's dropped we'll look a lot more organised at the back as he is clearly a nightmare to play alongside and is so unpredictable that he clearly causes a lot of uncertainty in the minds of others. Unfortunately you can't have that in your backline. Everyone has to trust those around them 100%. If one engages the other has to cover and that should trigger others to follow. If you watch his positioning he's all over the place literally picking up imaginary players. Watch their second goal yesterday, genuinely have no idea what he was trying to do. He's not near any opponent and isn't tracking the ball. It's like playing without a Centre Half, yet bizarrely he's more of a hindrance than being a man light, as others expect him to be covering the space so don't close the space themselves. I have no idea what his history is as a player, but it looks to me like he started out as maybe a midfielder then with the way the game has gone in terms of having players in the back line comfortable on the ball, someone suggested he play Centre Half but gave little consideration to the fact that in-order to play that role you a) need to have instinctive defensive positional awareness, and b) know how and when to engage an opponent . He has neither hence the reason he is absolutely atrocious.
  13. I thought we were bad away at United but today's performance is a new low. Genuinely one of the worst performances I've ever seen from us. Could and should have been 10, and aside from our goal which came out of nowhere we barely got out of our own half. If I was Vardy I'd be tearing into certain individuals after that showing.
  14. Never ever want to see this clown where the club's shirt again. Absolutely atrocious. How can anyone in their right mind watch this guy week in week out and think he warrants being a professional footballer. The bloke is a complete fraud.
  15. I'm not defending JJ but to be fair he probably thinks he's holding the line and those behind are offside. Little does he realise Faes is secret Brentford fan.
  16. I'm livid with that. Faes nowhere to be seen. Needs pulling immediately.
  17. I absolutely hate Danny Ward, but I'd genuinely be tempted at HT to sub off Faes, stick Ward in goal and play Hermansen as a CB. Could not be any worse.
  18. What the heck was that?!?
  19. It really wouldn't 😂
  20. 39 seconds after the restart. Coady seems a decent guy, but surely as a highly experienced centre half he should be reminding that backline to keep their concentration immediately after they've conceded.
  21. Faes is soooo sh!t. It's like he's in a parallel universe marking some player no one else can see.
  22. Yet again down that right side. That combo of Justin and Faes is a disaster. Ruud needs to make that a priority.
  23. Where did that come from?
