  1. The 4-0 scoreline is a tricky one for me. Derby 0 - 4 Leicester (technically nil four so not sure if that counts) Leicester 4 - 0 Leeds Leicester 4 - 0 Derby Leicester 4 - 0 Swansea
  2. Terrible decision to effectively monetise an event like this particularly during half term where the kids will talk between themselves and exert pressure on their parents to meet their idols. Whatever happened to positive PR and goodwill?!? It's not exactly like this event is costing them a huge outlay to justify the price. The increased foot fall will inevitably lead to people spending money on merchandise with takings likely be elevated so there really is no need to apply a premium.
  3. Not going to read too much into those comments assuming they are true. Not defending Cooper but there's a few players in this squad that were adamant that Rodgers was the best manager they've ever played for and wouldn't have a bad word said against him, so I'd take any comments with a pinch of salt as it had no bearing on where we ended up at the end of the season.
  4. Also no Ricardo despite JJ going MIA (aside from a stunner last week) every game.
  5. Would much rather have Winks in for N'didi. Can stomach Ayew being in so long as he switches to Fatawu around 60 mins, but you know Ayew will get the 90, and Fatawu will replace Mavididi on 80. Feels like a negative team selection again.
  6. Paul Johnson - Get get down
  7. Feel for him. Decent player but needs similarly technical players around him which Cooper has stripped out of the side. Absolutely no coincidence that Winks looks lost without the passing options of Vestergaard and Ricardo. Maresca built a spine and Cooper unfortunately has dismantled that. I don't dislike Cooper but he's too stubborn. It's an irritating character trait when you're winning week in week out (Maresca), but suicidal when it's clear to every man and their dog things aren't working (Rodgers). Whilst I'm not yet advocating a change in manager I'm convinced Winks in a different system is a very decent player.
  8. Good call Ric, he wasn't on my radar but looking at his stats I think he'd do well. Managed at a decent level previously with a decent win percentage. Also GD is in the positive at every club. No idea how much he'd cost but is definitely in the mould of what we need.
  9. Agreed, but don't you think it's shocking that we find ourselves in that situation. I mean less than 10 years ago we won the PL and now we're effectively saying we've got little chance of poaching their manager. Not trying to be disrespectful in anyway to them, but in terms of the food chain we shouldn't be viewed as a less attractive proposition than a team that averages just over half our attendance and has spent the vast majority of the last 80 years playing third and fourth tier football. Appreciate this is where we find ourselves and agree wholeheartedly that there's little chance he'd come, but one can hope and dream.
  10. Really not sure who we go for if we do decide to move Cooper on. Moyes is the standout candidate with a decent win percentage at this level. Potter would be a good option too but I'd be wary given the back and forth we've had with him in the past. Unsure whether it's realistic or not but I'd be tempted to try our luck for Thomas Frank, surely we're a bigger club with a higher ceiling than Brentford, although I would not blame him in the slightest if he had zero interest given how the club is ran. I'm not overly keen on Corberan. Yes, WBA had a decent season last year and again have started well this season, but his overall win percentage is relatively average, and he has yet to test himself at the highest level. I was also unimpressed with the way WBA went about the two playoff games. The biggest games that they've had for a decade and they set up horrendously showing no desire to get to the final. Across the two games Corberan did nothing to address the situation, so whilst he's a bit of a wildcard and could potentially be decent, I think it's too big a gamble based on what we need to achieve this season.
  11. The game yesterday really was a sh*t show of a performance. Both full backs were abysmal. Truly horrendous! Kristiansen looks a mile off PL level, and Justin was constantly getting caught on the wrong side of his man. Ricardo must have done something really really bad to Cooper to not get any game time yesterday. Likewise, Buonanotte must be wondering what the heck is going off. Criminal not to play him. He absolutely changed us the moment he came on. Pressing all over the park and dictating play. He's one hell of a talent who needs to be one of the first names on the team sheet. Some of his decision making today was bizarre. They had a 39 year old Ashley Young playing LB and he puts Jordan Ayew up against him. I guarantee Fatawu 1v1 against Young from the start tears him a new one. I know N'didi had a decent game last time out, but he was awful. Couldn't pass, couldn't shoot, and a first touch which gifted Everton possession pretty much every time he received the ball. Skipp must be livid at getting no game time. I'll not go in too hard on Bilal as he's work in progress, but he's got a lot of work to do based on that performance. As for the subs, aside from Buonanotte the others came far too late and even then they replaced the wrong personnel. Oddly given how it played out I was relatively relieved we didn't lose as we can't be losing points to rivals even at this stage. I want Cooper to succeed. He comes across as a decent bloke and it's refreshing to have a manager who doesn't have an arrogant attitude. However, he needs to reflect on his approach so far and recognise that if doesn't change things fast he'll be looking for another job.
  12. Yes, I've turned up at half time before and got in. Think that's the cut off though.
  13. What the heck do both Ricardo and JJ need to do for the change to happen? Personally still happy to give Cooper time but his stubbornness to ignore Ricardo is utterly bizarre.
  14. Great idea in principle, problem is 60% disappear from 80 mins onwards to avoid the non-existent traffic jams.
  15. Just watching a video on YouTube that Forest Fan TV have put up entitled 'Cheating Scum! Leicester Escape Point Deduction...' (yes I do feel dirty after watching that so need to go for a shower), oh it's a joy to watch! I love how salty these hypocrites are. Turning on their saviour Steve Cooper too. But to summarise they don't care about what happens to us , and apparently Di Marco is a Forest man.
  16. Good observations, I agree. What's most bizarre about the Riccy situation is that the system is crying out for him. I'm not against this principle that Cooper has employed where the FB pushes forward into midfield but it has to be fluid, I.e. able to be deployed down both sides with the opposite FB tucking in when the other goes. At the moment everything goes down the left and on Saturday it became a bit predictable and VK in all honesty isn't the most productive either. If we had Riccy on the right we could really mix up our attacking plays and still achieve the overloads we're looking for. My only concern is that I'm not convinced VK has the awareness to recognise that when the ball switches play and Riccy goes forward he has to drop, which would be a big problem as there's no way our CBs are good enough to a 3 or 4 v 2 situation if the ball is turned over.
  17. Devastated to hear this news. Absolute legend, and far too young to pass away. Condolences to his family and friends at this very difficult time. 💙
  18. Did she say it's odds on?
  19. Love this guy. What an incredible man. Embodies everything that endeared me to the club many years ago. So happy that he can now spend time with his family and reflect upon his achievements. I really hope that the club can find a way to bring him back into the fold in some capacity. I hadn't given any thought before his retirement but I wonder if he could become the long term successor to The Birch. I wish him all the very best for the future and hope we see more of him around the club.
  20. Luck of the draw
  21. Is big Les OK?
  22. Excellent finish from Winks
  23. This commentary team are awful
  24. Watch him fail the medical 😂
