  1. Knew they'd score the moment Diagana gave it away.
  2. Evidently, but that wasn't the point of my sarcasm.
  3. Don't believe it for one moment. Clearly 2nd tier ITK compared to Balague
  4. A That's image has definitely been photoshopped. Not saying the actual kit won't be similar (have no idea), but that's a rather lazy attempt.
  5. Interesting to hear. Always, felt CrossFit was another of these fad franchise regimes that have come and gone over the years, particularly as one of the main sports science concepts you're taught in academic training is the principle of specificity. As such I've always dismissed the concept based upon it's generalised approach to training. That said, having watched the last 2 seasons of Physical 100 on Netflix and seen two CrossFitter's end up winning both season's it's really changed my outlook as an approach to fitness. The performance of the eventual winner in the Infinite Squat challenge that the final 3 contestants faced in season 2 was unreal.
  6. I don't bother with social media on any fronts. Unfortunately I came across this on the BBC football page and hadn't realised until clicking into the article that he was the author. By that point he'd got his click so was worth reading to see what nonsense he'd spouted this time. The point remains though that he needs reining in. If Maresca is involved in drip feeding this nonsense, no amount of people ignoring these articles is going to reduce the likelihood of the content being published as clearly he'll want this out there.
  7. Really wish Balague would go and do one. The timing of this article is absurd. Not even allowed the dust to settle. For me he's becoming a big problem. Either today's article has been orchestrated with Maresca, in which case questions need to be raised as to why Maresca is playing this out in public, or Balague has seen an opportunity to spout a load of half truths to stir the pot whilst Maresca is away on a jolly with the boss. Whichever way it is, Balague needs to be reined in because we can't be allowing this sort of nonsense to destabilise what is already a fragile club.
  8. Was contemplating buying this seasons blue shirt but that Straight Back Up nonsense they've stuck on all the shirts has put me right off.
  9. If those are correct that 2nd kit is a beauty. Home kit not bad, 3rd kit the designers either on LSD or a big fan of the darts.
  10. I think as soon as you hit the 40% tax threshold it's a no brainer. Either it goes to the tax man or or it goes into your pension pot. You can put together an excel spreadsheet with your salary, tax and NI deductions, other BIK deductions and see what impact increasing pension contributions has on your take home salary. If your on PAYE it is much more tax efficient to put money into your pension as it'll reduce your taxable income. Also helps if your employer makes sizeable contributions too as you can build up a decent sized pot relatively quickly which I think will be important as healthcare is generally improving and people are living longer so it's likely you may need to draw upon a pension for good few years. Obviously buying an annuity would offer some protection from this but it's certainly not for everyone as it depends upon your personal circumstances.
  11. P.S. Make the most of tonight, because there won't be much to celebrate next season after we hand you a 20 point deduction 😂
  12. Yeah, "Promotion secured - Register now for your special edition Season Ticket Card - Only £25!"
  13. Have Brighton borrowed our fans for the evening?!? I guess they do at least have the excuse that they need to beat the queue for the bus.
  14. I don't agree with the clubs stance on this even though as a digital ticket holder myself this decision doesn't impact me. However surely the club can't use the number of emails received as being a reason for refusing to acknowledge the issue on a broader level considering at least 1/3 of the ground we're singing in protest about this the other night. Clearly there is an issue. I hope that when the football regulator eventually comes into force that all clubs in the football league are mandated to carry out Net Promoter Score surveys and publish said data to benchmark themselves against customer (Are we fans anymore?!?) feedback. It would certainly highlight issues such as this and force clubs to make a concerted effort to improve.
  15. Ref couldn't wait to blow up then. Refereeing was atrocious in that game.
  16. It feels soooo wrong, but I actually cheered that goal as if Vards had stuck one away 🤣
  17. This is good news, but I can't help but think that it's rather embarrassing for Europe that Ukraine are so reliant upon this. Surely as a continent we should be able to stand on our own two feet.
  18. I think we will. Despite our recent best attempts not to secure promotion, weirdly I feel like our chances have improved with both the number of games left and others faltering. I think we need 7 points from the remaining 4 games to guarantee promotion. Let's assume for a moment that Ipswich get promoted, that would mean that both Leeds and Southampton would have to win all their remaining games to even stand a chance of surpassing our points tally should we pick up 7 more points, which is a big ask. Even if they both did win all the other games that final day fixture could be a winner takes all event and I'm not sure either have the bottle, especially as they'll both be keeping an eye on happenings at the KP as we could render their result irrelevant. Given we have 3 of the 4 at home, and 2 of the 4 are against teams that no longer have much to play for I think we're more than capable of picking up the 7 points needed and can even afford a loss to Southampton along the way. Let's be honest, if we don't achieve the above then quite frankly we won't deserve to finish in the top 2.
  19. 2 wins and a draw should do it. Can't see 2 out of the 3 contenders taking maximum points from their remaining games. Still a big ask though for us given our form of late. Only thing that gives me hope is that we've got so many home games.
  20. I think Enzo's tenure is coming to a close, however he has to remain in place until the end of the season now as I have zero confidence the board have a back up plan and we'd face a similar situation to last season where they'd take forever finding a replacement effectively forfeiting a couple of games which we simply cannot afford right now. The current state of the this club is truly beyond a joke.
  21. Blokes an absolute bomb scare and is a massive hindrance to the team as simply doesn't know how to defend. Technically he isn't too bad but he definitely isn't a CB as he doesn't have the positional awareness to play in the back line. Interestingly I actually think he'd make a competent DM not that Enzo would ever consider the idea. What's very concerning is that we have two very good CBs at this level in Coady and Souttar who barely get a look in for the bench let alone the first XI. Right now we just need to get back to basics and tighten everything up but Enzo will undoubtedly persist trying to play this high risk football and it'll prove very costly for all involved.
  22. Great finish from Sarmiento, but suicidal from Saints. Not sure where all that time came from though. Ipswich gave it everything but should never have had the time to come up with a winner.
  23. What concerns me the most is the lack of intensity. It's non-existent. That for me comes from the manager. I was impressed with the start he made but never got too carried away. When my non Leicester supporting mates laughed when I suggested it was far from over I simply said I've supported this club long enough to know anything can happen. That said, I'm starting to wonder if recent results are the product of Enzo's philosophy finally influencing our play and the results seen in the early stages of the season were merely a case of the players playing at a level below their ability. Recent performances are not only bizarre but players who looked miles ahead of anything in this league now look woeful. I'm not usually big on the idea of changing manager during the season, but agree with others that I don't see a future beyond this season with Enzo in charge so now is as good as any to bring in some fresh ideas especially with the likes of Cooper and Potter (if possible) out of work. If there's even the slightest chance of a new manager bounce we need it now.
  24. Really struggling at the moment. Can see why so many guy's between 40-50 see no way out. Literally everything around me at the moment is falling to pieces and I'm feeling very overwhelmed and completely out of my depth not knowing where to turn or who can help me. I'm facing many issues all stacked on top of each other some of which I can not control. I'm not going to pretend that on reflection I haven't made some silly mistakes (nothing financial or relationship based) but they were genuine ones that were outside of my scope of knowledge and are now creating a hole so deep I can't really see a way out. Ordinarily I would have picked up with my psychiatrist but apart from being someone to offload onto I don't think even he can direct me this time. If I didn't have a young child who absolutely adores me (and who I love beyond all imagination) I'd seriously be contemplating bringing it all to an end. Fact is, for me personally it'd be a selfish act and I realise the lasting impact such action would have on them so I don't think it's viable despite how I'm feeling. That said my mind is completely consumed by my troubles and there's not been one minute of the day for the last 6 months that my issues haven't tormented me. I'm struggling to sleep and most nights find myself shedding a tear or two wondering how to get myself out of this mess. When I do eventually get to sleep I inevitably awake at 3am again consumed with the same thoughts, pondering how to solve the problems I'm facing and can't get back to sleep. I've just changed jobs too so do not have the luxury of taking some time out as I'm on probation and so even if the business were understanding and supportive enough not to release me I'm only entitled to statutory sick pay which would add further minor problems. I'm not really sure why I'm posting this on a forum amongst people I don't know or how I'm supposed to end this post but I suppose just getting things off my chest a little is somewhat helpful rather than bottling it all up inside.
  25. Does appear that the relationship between the club and Enzo is deteriorating the further we go into the season. I just hope the club have the foresight (which I doubt very much based on history) to identify a shortlist of upcoming managers who can deliver success with little resource.
