Caleb announces on instagram FAKE NEWS
lcfc_forever replied to Fox forever's topic in Leicester City Forum
Perhaps, but his story likely damaged it already. Usually, the journalist will say 'the club denies this' or include a rebuttal from the club. For something to be removed, typically means the club have told him off the record it's factually inaccurate and backed it up somehow. -

Then why has he removed it from the article? -

For Percy to remove it from the article suggests he's not confident in his source now. He had a clear mission with the story, so perhaps was less diligent in verifying? Most of it is still there so doesn't mean the rest of it lacks credibility. -

Jason Bourne has tweeted he's at the press conference and first time speaking to RVN. Given his recent tweets, could be fireworks. -

But that highlights the problems with the club - it's too much led by the manager rather than the DoF having a grip of things. -

To be fair, the article says he rejected Hamburg as well - not a top flight club but one with high potential. -

According to Collomosse on the BSLB podcast, there were rumblings about Enzo too towards the end of previous season when we had that poor run. -

Top had a go at the players for letting the club down under Cooper. We're arguably seeing worse now under RVN. The logical thing is to back the manager and allow him to shift the culture like Pearson did but it would be a massive step change if they did. -

What a read, so depressing. You can tell Percy is annoyed by the secrecy at the club as well. Other things that stood out for me are Ward asked to be taken off at halftime vs. Wolves, RVN told fringe players asking why they didn’t play vs. QPR that the club doesn’t hand out Christmas presents and we are focusing on a winger on loan (but may be able to use the Cannon money as well). It’s an utter mess, although like RVN attempting to introduce discipline at the club. -

One thing that doesn’t stack up in the story is Percy said we’d triggered the appearance floor so we could keep Facu till the end of the season. But Collomosse says Brighton were tempted to call him back, so that doesn’t make sense. -
Yeah, that's surely the case. Maybe Monaco are getting this out there to hurry up other targets.

No way are we allowing this surely:

Yes @Ric Flair! These are exactly the types of signing we need.

Was going to post about Pavlovic yesterday as a potential option but didn't as was fed up of us not even appearing to be making moves. There are some interesting loan options among the big Italian clubs.

How significant was the loss of Kasper Schmeichel?

Exactly! -
How significant was the loss of Kasper Schmeichel?

It was - reported at the time they fell out, and some players weren’t liking Kasper’s high demands on them. Remember when he dropped Kasper for Ward vs. Watford for no reason but to end his consecutive run of appearances in his last season? Guess he realised later it was a stupid error and they made up. His performance yesterday was superb. -

This was a huge mistake by Rodgers, and another example of Rudkin’s mismanagement as he gave him complete control. Kasper’s performances were on the decline statistically but he gave leadership to the team and demanded high standards, things became too comfortable for the players when he left. And goes without saying he would have been better than Ward! -

Exactly, looks like they’ve decided the angle and picked the quotes to support it rather than have any actual evidence. But wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true anyway. -
