  1. Yes, the PL said they would pursue it at the time when the verdict arrived.
  2. That relates to 22/23 when the PL lost the case against us after it went to an independent panel as we were a Championship club so not under their jurisdiction. The PL said they would pursue it legally at the time so not new news - and lawyers said at the time it's unlikely the PL would manage to reverse the decision.
  3. Loophole FC strikes again! To all the negative, gloom laden, pessimistic posters, PL and rival club supporters, your boys have taken a hell of a beating!
  4. No need to fly around insults mate. And Lox said it was from trusted sources, not a rumour on the video. I really like the BTG content, especially the analysis. Fans are concerned as it is, and throwing around things like this make it more toxic. Your response kind of proves the point.
  5. Yeah, read somewhere (might have been the Athletic) that even though the transfer went through on 2 July, it can be included in the 23-24 accounts.
  6. Exactly. The analysis @StriderHiryu does is superb, as are some of the other contributors with their insights. Watch it for that, as this kind of clickbait demeans them.
  7. Exactly, and BTG have changed their tune now saying we won’t know the punishment! I guess we’re going to get this kind of unhelpful speculation until the announcement.
  8. Seen this but do they announce the points deduction upfront? And, if it is around 12m over, that should mean a 2 points deduction based on Everton’s punishment right?
  9. He’s signed according to Romano:
  10. Tom Collomosse from Daily Mail says he's joining Sheff Utd this week
  11. Didn’t watch the match yesterday but Man U fans were impressed with his performance.
  12. This article about the potential transfer says his idol is Riyad Mahrez: https://www.footmercato.net/a5075490795444224517-le-rc-lens-tient-deux-belles-options-pour-renforcer-son-attaque
  13. In the ESPN report about the deal with Cruzeiro falling through, it suggested that he has a knee issue that may be putting off European clubs.
  14. https://www.alfredopedulla.com/esclusiva-manchester-united-e-leicester-su-francesco-pio-esposito/ Says we and Man Utd are monitoring him.
  15. Linked with him before but one of our relegation rivals want him as well 😂
  16. @Ric FlairThis is fantastic, a must-read analysis of Woyo:
  17. Based on the stats, fits the profile of defender RVN seems to want - confident on the ball, physical and has good pace. JJ’s pure defensive stats aren’t too bad, but his decision-making has been poor and he doesn’t have the same pace or passing ability to get him out of trouble.
  18. Di Marzio is a highly respected source, so looks legit.
  19. Cheap right back, checks out
  20. Sounds like we won't be making any signings until after the PSR announcement given the speculation around it putting off players potentially plus wanting to keep the PL onside by not taking the piss and spending lots of money.
  21. I'm not going to dig into whether major clubs wanted those players but a lot of this is hindsight bias. We wanted to compete with the top 4, and paid wages accordingly. Failure was recruitment - they simply didn't perform to what we expected, and we know what happened next.
  22. That's exactly what I was thinking with the reference to 'cheap full backs'. A factor in the removal of Cooper was his criticism of PL officials, so the club are clearly doing what they can to keep them sweet.
