Winning the league cup, gives us more global exposure and helps to build our reputation as a team regularly competing for and winning trophies. This can help us attract players, gain some glory hunting fans abroad and help the coffers long term. Not saying prioritise over the Conference but there is no need to have to prioritise at this stage. We can go for both and see where we get. We are two rounds from the final. Go for it.

I think he will improve with a few more games, well I hope so anyway. I like his energy and desire. He also gets forward a bit so has a few goals in him. I also see that he lost the ball and couple if times and sometimes is bullied off it but perhaps a some more games and he'll get better. Players can improve technically so I still have hopes for him.

See where we are after the Norwich game on new years day for me. It's still too early to pull the trigger. I'm as disappointed as everyone else with our ongoing issues at the back but he would cost a fortune to sack right now, and I dont think our situation is that desperate yet. With Youri, Justin and Fofana to come back, hopefully soon, maybe we will turn a corner.

I don't want to see him in the starting line up again any time soon. Loses the ball nearly everytime it comes to him and is easily bullied. Perez and Albrighton are better options. Need someone who puts a shift in defensively for the Napoli game.

Must start at villa if Tielemans is still out, and it sounds like he will be. Soumare really has not got up to speed yet. Very lethargic. KDH was very positive when he came on. Given a full half tather than 5 or 10 mins this time and looked decent and played positively. Does seem to get knocked off the ball a bit though.

I'd like to see him given a few starts. We have so many games coming up Iin December, I think he will get his chance soon. Like others have said, his mobility looks better than Soumare. He also showed goal threat pre season and physically looks up to it.

Voted no for now. Maybe the 30m to sack him is keeping me in the no camp but it could cost us more than 30m to keep him if we don't do something in the next few weeks. I wouldn't be upset if Man U came in for him as long as we could get Potter in.

Nacho and KDH on please

Brendan has tried to match their formation from the off except we lost the one man who can keep the ball for us to injury, so we needed an extra midfielder from the start to try and also Nacho for some presence up front. With Chelsea having loads more of the ball and pressing us bigtime we need to go long sometimes and hold it up. It just keeps coming back. Lookman has done ok but I would not have started him or Barnes today. Soumare has been awful. Jogging about when we lose the ball every time. No fight or energy in him. And we conceded the same goal we have conceded 10 times this season already. Fed up.

He'll be back in soon. Soumare wasnt great today so unless we have a midfield 3 its welcome back Ndidi and bench for Soumare.

It's a bit of a dilemma. I much prefer us with 4 atb, but do feel its then a choice between Madders and Nacho. Can't play both unless we go 3atb. Today with no Ricardo we were forced into a change with the wing backs and it exposed us, as Thomas is not great at wing back, better in a 4 as others have said.

Very happy for him, didn't do anything wrong to get dropped in the first place. As long as he keeps its simple hes effective. If we play 3 atb, he has to play in my opinion. He has his limitations with passing so as long as we don't dick around with it too much at the back hes good for me.

Let's give the guy credit where it's due. Well play yesterday Ayoze. There were still some knobs booing when he came on. Let's not do that. Get behind him. He is obviously a frustrating player but he does work hard and has creativity in his locker. Decent with ball at his feet.

I picked the right game to come back from Switzerland for. Still buzzing. Was just so nice to see us play how we all know we can. Well done brendan for changing it up. Let's go on a nice little run now and enjoy the season.

Needs to step up now Ndidi is out injured. We need a big game from him on Sunday.

Maddison did quite well. We had zero creativity before he appeared. This boring slow passing around the back sh*te needs to stop.

I'm happy with this line up. We have plenty of pace, a start for Lookman. Nacho to save the day if needed.

Brighton are quite good but dont really have a good goalscorer. Hopefully Maupay is sh8te as usual and we will win.

No chance he starts on Sunday. But he will play against Millwall and probably get some minutes or another start in Warsaw so we will start to see a bit more of him now. Give it a few games and we will see if we have a player or not. I suspect he will be very good eventually but just needs some time to adjust to our style and learn a bit from Vardy.

Can't keep the ball. Need Tielemans on asap to help the midfield out. With bitg Ndid and Soumare on yellows as well, with this open attacking line up we are asking for trouble if we don't make a change. One of the front 4 need to be hooked now.

Big game for Soumare. Let's see how we do without Tielemans. He did look like he needed a rest.
