We are soulless and have lost it all… we have none of… Walsh’s cards record, Colin Hills style of defending, Kevin Russel off the bench, Oooh Tommy Wright, Joachims screamer, Coatsworths screamer, Taylor wonderland, Kevin Poole, Martin Georges money, Kamark in that final, Claridges shin, O’Neill out to O’Neill we want you to stay, the Carling stand, Dennis the Fox, WTMG, Hot Dog kid, Pepsi Junior Foxes, Elliots double, F Off Mark McGhee, Peter Reid’s got a fcking monkeys head, Mickey Adam’s whiskey bottle, Dion at centre half, Muzzies overhead, Nalis screamer and THOSE Leeds fans, Steve Guppy’s left foot’s, Maxy Gradel and my wife, Howard’s header, Matt Fryatt derby, Lloyd Dyer my lord, Ostriches, Michael Morrison v Portsmouth, Sven, Sousa, Yuki, Nigel F Pearson, Andy Andy King, 2 balls, our recruitment, Knockearts miss, Chris Wood off the face, Riyads touch, Claudios pizzas, Albrightons European celebration, trophies at Wembley, it’s 11 it’s heaven, Leicester hit back like champions, THAT Kasper save, Enzos Lambo, Vardys foul mouthed kids…. Absolutely no personality….

The atmosphere is the deadest it’s been for years. No chance of the crowd getting raucous over Rudkin. The Rudkin chant attempts tonight fizzled out pretty quickly. The chap who ran on to the pitch should have done it naked with Rudkin Out written on each arse cheek.

Should be ok. So I’ve heard.

I went to a sporting dinner recently hosted by Ben Kay and had the pleasure to sit next to Mel at dinner. We talked a lot about his time as an announcer at Filbo but I was surprised he was not massively into football and actually more of an egg chaser. Lovely bloke.

The football is not great… I get that. Others in this league are playing far more entertaining football (some with squads as good as ours) but don’t have the number of wins or points we have amassed - the table today does not lie. At the start of the season I wasn’t filled with hope based on the Brendan slow collapse and honestly thought play offs at best. If he gets us promoted playing this style of football and we edge it by a point it would be fickle of me to not consider that a huge success… can’t speak for others though… all aboard the HMS-Get-Over-The-Line 🫡🫡🫡

If I’d just joined up on the back of all the noise in the media regarding our financial position and it being the “right thing to do” I’d be asking for my tenner back. Weak, pathetic, pandering up to the club to ensure they continue to get a 24hr lead on info before anyone else. Pitiful.

But didn’t we agree payment in instalments over a prolonged amount of time and then leverage the instalments for cash monies so we could spend? That will affect the bottom line I’m sure…

They are sometimes 2 days before but not heard anything and nothing on website 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s time for some perspective. Had anyone given me even a 3 point lead at the top of the table at this stage pre-season I’d have been bowled over. We are 7 points clear. We look destined to wrap up promotion earlier than the most optimistic Leicester fan could have imagined. Enzo has my complete support - he’s worked wonders on this team, cut some deadwood, continues to work on the squad and build up confidence after that horrible 6 month downfall overseen by Brendan. If you’re doubting him take a step back, breathe, give yourself a shake and take comfort that we will be done and dusted come April whether that’s with Ricky in centre mid, McAteer out wide, or Yunus drafted in off the bench. In Enzo we trust. 🦊🦊

Yep Thomas is a great example. Some people have suggested Enzo isn’t or wasn’t aware of the clubs financial status but this doesn’t wash for me. I wouldn’t leave a huge club and take on a job of this size without researching and understanding all aspects of the club from top to bottom. With that in mind I wonder if his remit was to achieve promotion whilst blooding some youngsters in the process in the hope we could cash in on them to ease FFP concerns ala McAteer, Wanya, Nelson, Maswinhise and shift on anyone you can Thomas, Iverson etc. Once Alves and Braybrooke are fit I fully expect him to put them ahead of your Praets, Albrightons of this world and if we can make a buck on any of the graduates in July/Aug then it’s a success in the eyes of the board. Selling graduates is a quick way out of FFP troubles but also undermines loads of work to secure the longevity of the team seeing these youngsters sold on.

The McAteer links with PL teams have surprised me but it checks out - if we sell him ANY money received is pure bottom line when it comes to FFP given that he’s an ac/graduate. It eases our FFP and we have semi credible replacements on the bench in Wanya and Maswhinise… welcome Sensi.
