There's always a chance if he plays that he still turns us down, so why on earth wouldn't we be playing him to try and increase his value, just in case we do need to try and move him on
Cole and Roberto Carlos were completely different players though weren't they, Cole was the better defender whilst Carlos was better going forwards. How good Cole was gets downplayed because of the offield stuff.
I don't think him missing a few tests would put any real huge pressure on them, it'll be Starc, Boland and Hazlewood, then they have the likes of Fergus O'Neil to bring in if needed
He doesn't need to dive in, if he stands his ground he probably blocks any run or attempted cross anyway. It's really bad by the ref, but it's still naive defending
