Add this to the fact I was 1800 in the queue and choosing my tickets for 45 minutes to then being booted out and placed at 180k in the queue. Each year when the budget is laid out, the board would see that they are fooked and would need to do something about it. Is it all a gamble on whether the team plays well and a big £80million sale for one of our assets comes in? The wages are ridiculous and I'm suprised the club haven't had an honest conversation with the squad in the summer (or maybe they did) and challenge the high earners to cut their wages. I feel, They've gambled on promotion to get the income and to see what the penalties will be when we go up.

I believe the new FFP rule will go live from next season which means teams like Chelsea who have spent over 1 billion pounds will not get penalised for any encroachment in the last 2 seasons. Man city's case is disgusting. Why is there no update on the progress of this?

We had some good times and we had some bad times with Madders. He took some good set pieces and some awful corners. He had his injury problems, overcame them, had a good run of form pre-world cup. I would have liked a bit more out of him in the relegation run-in but couldn't change the games when it mattered. Can he improve himself and make an impact at Spurs? Not sure. I hope not. I'm just glad the deal is done early on, take the money and move on. We've got a Championship title to win. Bye👋

Jury is out on Winks but in Enzo we trust. Perhaps a change of club and new home would suit him to kickstart his career again. Coady gives us a voice and leadership qualities we have lacked. I still can't get over the the nasty tackles the players received and none of the team mates would support them. You see a tackle on Grealish, Ealing etc rush to confront the player. The beauty of it is that it adds a bit of bite and backbone which we lacked.
