We are currently still in the EFL under their embargo, and the transfer window doesn't open until 14th June. I presume any discussion with the PL about sanctions is going to take time. I think it's going to feel really slow for a bit.

It’s about getting relegated. That’s all.

It’s bank holiday Monday. Give the mods a break.

He will know what he is getting from Vardy and they known each other a while. Didn’t come across well but this has been overblown.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Got to use the stats as a benchmark. With Coady and Nelson coming through I think we only need 1 more cb. We barely have any midfielders. It has to be the priority. -
Brentford will probably overpay for someone like Nacho and thoroughly regret it. I think they are down next season. Normally i like an underdog, but i hate watching Brentford play. Agree about Everton. There are significant ownership issues as well. Forest will be in the bottom section too. Wolves have been hopeless lately and the wheels have fallen off with O'Neil. They are there for the taking. Lots of Rumours about Solanke going. We saw what Bournemouth look like without him (utter rubbish). Another club that are one bad deal away from bottom 4. Brighton will sort themselves out. I think they likely need to move on from DZ but you would think the ownership will be on top of poor 2nd half of the season. Ipswich are interesting. The shipped 57 goals in the Championship so unless there is significant recruitment defensively they are going to be absolute cannon fodder for a lot of the PL teams. There are a few loans in there they are likely to lose, so they are going to have to go on a spending spree. With us, no matter what we will spend significant spells in the bottom 3-6. I said it before that my biggest fear are the fans that think we are going to slot straight back into the top 8, and will turn on Enzo fast. Even the 'ok' teams lose a lot of games in the PL (Spurs just lost 4 on the bounce, West Ham have won 1 in 8, Brighton have won 2 in 10). We are going to have to hold our nerve and carve out a way of getting through next season but the expectations are going to have to be very different to anything we have experiences in recent years.

Unfortunately, you are competing with other clubs for signatures. I agree in the past we have overpaid, but you still need to be competitive. The ley is to pay the right players the right salaries.

We had the best defensive stats this season. With wilf gone we have about 3 midfielders. Midfield and lack of rotation was our biggest issue in the last 3 months. Even worse when KDH goes. I do think Jannik goes but we should keep faes, Coady and blood in Nelson and recruit one more. -
A few years back i visited a mate who lives in Rotterdam. I didn't realise when organising it but Sparta were playing Ghent in a preseason friendly. You could just turn up on the day and sit in any free seat you liked, all for free with beers. For a preseason game, it was a pretty decent game. Wish we would do something like this.

He will be tip top for Brightons first game next season.
-
That dive before Blackburns 2nd has summed him up. There is a good player with a solid shot on him, but he's pretty weak and its going to be even tougher next season.

Ha ha - getting in there early! I for one can't wait for the forum meltdown when the first picture of Soumare's beaming smile hits the LCFC twitter account in his first days return at Seagrave. And then to find out that he only features at the beginning of the bleep test video.

Here here. My son is the only Leicester fan in his class. All others are a mix of Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool. A lot of teachers seem to be season ticket holders though.

As i said - i think this will be a theme when they start talking about next season. However, in the last summer window there is no way he waltzed in and started controlling the transfer process immediately. It's why it makes me laugh when people say Coady was 'his' singing. I am sure he wouldn't have said no to Coady and discussed it, but i strongly doubt he came in and started demanding we signed Coady. I would think that Enzo feels he has proven himself to have far more say in the matter now.

Dan and Vardy know each other. Sure everything will be fine.
-
You would imagine they were all sent to London in taxis. No way would they have stayed in Leicester last night, even if we had a ground expansion.
-
They are being taken to France for 3 days, and if they went late yesterday or today one of those is a bank holiday. Sometimes, the best preparation is a bit of rest as i imagine everything is a bit of a fog right now. There are still 2 weeks of the PL season left and the transfer window doesn't open until the 14 June, and a lot of internationals will be focussed on the Euro's as well. You can presume any work outsourced to lawyers will carry on as normal and scouts will be doing what they do. Sadly, I don't think this trip means Rudkin will be any better or worse at his job over the next few months.
-
In is first window after getting his first english managerial job, i strongly doubt it. Would imagine he would have been consulted for sure, but the club would largely have been using connections they had already made. I imagine some of the conversations coming up about next season will try and address that. Re Cannon, everyone seems to forget he arrived injured and had no preseason at all. If he was to not get loaned, i imagine this preseason prep will be very important for him.
-
One of the best things about him going is that i don't have to hear people telling me we should give him another chance, because after all he is a 'belgian international'.

Celebration police out in full force. They deserve it. 96 points was an incredible achievement.

It really isn’t unfortunately. The value of the whole influencer thing is huge. For my generation, it’s an uncomfortable truth but for the younger lot it surreally makes sense. When my boy asked me who was on the last buses a flippantly said ‘youtubers’ and he just said ‘fair enough’. Sad but true. Recently, after completing a project, I went to an event for one of my clients in the US. The whole thing was a horrid experience as the whole setup gave center stage to their influencer network who were both filming themselves and being filmed by others. We were in an area to watch them. Horrible evening, but I do the analytics for the client and I know the revenue these guys bring in for them. It’s insane. Welcome to modern advertising. Your children are going to love it.
