It simply can't apply to goalkeepers, surely. Especially with the hustling that goes on in the box with set pieces, everyone will be luring the keepers into a mistake that leads to a blue card. Having a keeper sin binned is a massive disadvantage as you will have to lose another outfield player to temporarily replace the keeper with your 2nd choice keeper. It's ridiculous. The more i think about it the more i hate it. Just enforce the rules as they are.

I would actually like him to become a little more selfish. At times he's been far too respectful to those around him. I remember against Leeds last year him laying a pass to Vardy (who scored but was offside) instead of taking the chance himself - i was convinced it was out of respect to Vards. Against Stoke there was a moment in the 2nd half when Mavadidi should have passed to him in front of goal. He just strugged it off nicely rather than made his frustration clear. Is there any footage of the McAteer incident? Can't find it on any of the extended highlights, which is odd for a potentially game changing incident. I watched it live on a stream and remember the Stoke player (think it was Burger) yell something directly in his face but would like to see if the incident was more innocuous than i remember.
