At some point you have to take personal accountability. The rumour is he didnt get on with Maddisons clique which i think had Barnes, Luke and KDH in it. But if after this many years, nobody likes working with you and you have never actually shown any ability at the level you were employed at, then maybe you are the problem? Like all of them, hes happy to take the pay checks. But he's been given plenty of opportunity, been allowed on loan, planety of time to recover with injury etc. What he hasn't done is applied himself and become a driving force on the pitch - he can lead by example if he chooses to. He had plenty of opportunity in the PL last season and at best was woeful. I distinctly remember a home game last season where most of the warm up was spent him providing crosses - nothing was anywhere near anyone. Then he just did the same in the match - nothing close to its target. They were allowing him to play to his perceived strengths, and he wasn't able to do any basics. He will leave and disappear into obscurity. I will remember him as someone who ran around a lot, but couldnt get a decent cross in and whos tackling abilty seems to be leaving out a dangling leg.

He's old and wont feature anymore for the national team. He's also really, really, really sh1t. Anyone willing to buy him and remotely match our salary for him is utterly insane.

We have to, unquestionably, dump Jannik. We cannot setup with him leading the back line next year. It doesn't matter what division we are in - the problems are the same. Stands on the ball to slow everything down, no pace, no physicality, mistakes, cant jump and has a terrible attitude. We start with Jannik, we are in the proper sh1t as it proves we cannot move on from whatever systems we have got ourselves addicted to. He would be on about 40-50k a week too - we have to get rid.

Its been a miserable few years at our club. I even look back at the Enzo season with a little sadness as he left at the end of it and we couldn't work out what to do. But this chap is the biggest waste of space to sit in that dug out and should be nowhere near us next season. What an opportunity he had, and i think he could have semented a little kudos for himself. Drab football, a draw-oholic who sidelined the kids and continued to play the dross the fans hated. Good riddance.

Id love Millwall to go up automatically. The PL will hate it and their fans will be massively up for it all season. Expect something to kick off somewhere. To have one of Ipswich and Southampton not go up would be good. Southamptons run since they beat us has been unreal, but it has the hallmarks of a team that messes up at the final hurdle. Each time ive watched ipswich ive been underwhelmed. Would rather Wrexham didn't go up. Have a horrible feeling Derby might creep in, which would be horrific.
