Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

Shearer and Richards on MOTD both came out and said PSR is broken and stifling ambition and gave Villa as an example. Obviously Shearer has skin in the game with Newcastle but the more people call out this bullsh1t system the better. As I've bored on about several times. If businesses want to gamble financially to achieve success and push up long term revenue opportunities it's for them to decide, and deal with the repercussions if that strategy fails. Villa aren't going bust. League organisations should keep well out of it. They do next to feck all when things are really going t1ts up as with Wednesday. Bad owners can destroy a club regardless of spending or PSR restrictions.

If you consider the players left who don't seem to want to be here, VK, Faes, Winks (possibly Daka) and Bilal it looks threadbare in terms of players who actually give a toss. We need three in minimum and four ideally but that probably means shifting another couple at least. Just cannot see that falling into place before the window closes.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

So transparent isn't it? Pay up or go forth and multiply -
I'm loathe to criticise people who pay money and travel as I rarely go to away games myself so seems hypocritical. But, yeah, it does seem odd. And I also think it makes the lads grinding out a win even more impressive. Absolutely no backing and a very noisy Valley, it does show some spirit imo

I'm still in denial. We must sign a striker and a nasty number 8. -

Good lord. Rudkin must be using chatgpt to help negotiate or something. Surely we must fork out on a striker now. Please Rudders I'm on my knees Jim Beglin etc etc -
Chill, I am sure the club with clarify everything with a statement very soon.

Well said sir, well said.

Actually glad to hear that wasn't the norm because it was so, so quiet. Any particular reason or just general apathy towards the club at the moment?

I agree his opinion does seem a little fishy. -

May this be the start of a culture change. -
I went to a few charlton away games when they were sh1t in league 1. Of course they took much smaller numbers but they made a lot of noise despite that. I will say, they also take some real scum with them on away days, don't know whether the two correlate... didn't particularly enjoy the experience but then I'm a middle aged pansy.

Our end was atrocious. Silent for 95% of the game. Presumably reflecting the overall malaise at the club, because genuinely I was surprised at how poor it was.

It is, but at least he gets stuck in. Hopefully that can improve. -

Totally that was the highlight of the game other than the goal obviously. I was right behind the Leicester goal for that and I struggled not to get up and shout have that you cvnts. Showed some real spirit that did. We battled in that second half and Vesty actually won some headers. -

Okoli has some (serious) distribution issues for sure. But he was very physical and aerially did well against a tough Charlton side. Don't agree at all that he had a shocker, second half in particular he was very good. I think he'll grow into the side. -

Yep I was with my wife's charlton supporting family at the game. Consensus was Hamza was brilliant, Ayew was a nuisance second half, Page got stuck in and they were all surprised how young he was. Interesting to get a different perspective on things. -
I was in Charlton's covered end today and whilst his distribution was w@nk Okoli was fighting for everything against a very physical side. Vesty also put a shift in and Hamza was roundly praised by Charlton fans after they had stopped calling him a cvnt.
-
He was superb. His distribution was, however, horrific at times. Something to work on.

I've heard he got into an altercation with Woyo and Woyo broke his jaw, that's why they're both out. Reliable source. -

Doesn't bode well for any business we mignt do does it -
It was quite clear what Marti thought of him from that press conference really wasn't he. Feel sorry for the lad he's never had a chance but it does seem as if he's just not anywhere near good enough.

Can't believe the away day etiquette thread was locked. Yet again mods clamping down on what was a perfectly civilised and reasonable debate amongst our great family of Leicester City fans.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

Agreed. Businesses, particularly large ones, run at a loss frequently when growing. Speculate to accumulate. Whether we like it or not football has become first and foremost a business operation. If Newcastle's owners want to pump in shed loads of cash in the hope success, Champions League qualification and trophies etc lead to increased commerical revenue and business value later why should they be prevented from doing so? It is anti-competitive. I truly believe PSR is first and foremost about protecting vested interests. People often say to prevent another Leicester. That's b9llocks, it's to prevent another Man City.
