We can’t be compared to what 95% of the teams that were previously relegated though surely? I know we lost players but had the 7th highest wage bill in the PL yet got relegated and the season before in the semi finals of a European competition (disastrous when look at it like that on so many levels). I think the ability of our overall squad gets exaggerated on here but our starting 11 has to be one of the best to have played in the second division.

I’m overly nervous for today. The blueprint of hitting us on the break with quick wingers/forwards is there for all to see and that’s Rowlett’s go-to style. Stating the obvious but got to take our chances as we know we’ll gift at least one ourselves.

Anyone trying to defend Rudkin (and wider extent the board) after our obvious failings are the same people who suggested keeping Rodgers as “careful what you wish for etc” At the end of the day our football club (like every professional club) is a business and it’s been run in an unprofessional manner, off the back of this, jobs (more than just the playing side) will likely be impacted and our on field future runs the risk of being very bleak…..a change isn’t just needed but should be a bare minimum for me.

You’d be fair in comparing his season to Madders last season….in the main, been influential but has gone missing too many times for my liking. We will likely miss his engine in certain games next season as it’s almost a certainty that he’s off this summer surely?

Faes as future captain? I can’t think of a single leadership trait that the lad possesses. I sound like a broken record at times but Faes’ weak mentality actually infuriates me more than his rashness. Watch him when we concede, he goes into a child like temper tantrum but in a whiny way rather than Vardy angryesque way. Watch Ndidi after their goal, he was positively waving his arms to say “calm down lads, we’ve got this” the complete opposite to Faes.

Whilst I initially liked your post (still do for the majority). I HAVE to call out your next one re: Leeds’ central midfield. Kamara was bombed out of Rangers and Amapadu has been relegated what three years on the bounce? A midfield of Winks, KDH and Ndidi if managed to their strengths (which Leeds are currently doing) is a much stronger one. Agree 100% about their attacking/wide options though.

I’m fairly confident that “if” we get promoted that Daka (still under contract) and Vardy (re-signs) will be here if being honest. Vardy himself wouldn’t excuse his finishing on Friday but recent form he’s still been our best striker and our GOAT. Kelechi hasn’t had one game over 7/10 all season so just find his name being spouted as our saviour a bit strange, especially considering my comment re: Daka and Vardy being here next season if get promoted.

Iheanacho? The thought of adding another “won’t be here in July” player to our already weak minded starting 11 just baffles me if I’m being honest. What from his cameo on Friday suggested he should start?

Do we not just loan him out again and hope someone pays a loan fee/contributes towards his wages? Add Bouba to the list of expensive/overpaid (aka unsellable) flops for me.

You just summed up my thoughts in a much more rationale manner mate 👏🏻 I’m genuinely sick and tired of Enzo right now, his post match comments were borderline on offensive and when you add that to his “I’ll walk”, “Pre Leeds comments” then you actually realise a pattern has formed and he’s a rookie manager with zero pedigree yet acting like Pep/Klopp/Sir Alex etc. Get over yourself, re-evaluate the objective (promotion) and start using the squad to their ability rather than the same, predictable phases of play that EVERY opposition manager has clearly cottoned onto. If not, enjoy your evenings with your annoying little pal Guillem Balague as your managerial career will effectively be two failures on your resume.

Yet it’s Enzo who persists with “said same players”. There is the same “no jeopardy” amongst 12/13 players knowing they won’t get hooked even if playing at 2/10 at best. When Enzo first came he dropped Stephy but know just carries on with the same underperforming dross.

I’m not going into hard on Abdul BUT the comments about him being vastly superior to Gray are looking a tad premature. Enzo leaving him on when stinking out the joint aren’t helping as he hasn’t in one game (from memory) started poorly and then changed a game.

He’s one of my least favourite players in a while. His mannerisms (particularly after we concede) has to be one of the most pathetic, weak minded ones that I’ve seen from a professional footballer.

No one can say the players are tired/jaded YET they’re playing exactly like they did before the international break.

Vesty’s lack of mobility isn’t just down to his pace but how slot his foot work is when that player just knocked it past him. If we do go up, worry how many of these “PL paid” players would actually keep us up?

Sorry but that’s a myth. Yes that has happened but there have also been moments when Stephy was 1 on 1 against his FB but just trapped the ball and ended up giving the ball away.

Why do our wingers refuse to run at their FB’s? All they do is stop in their tracks, make weird choices with their final ball and end up losing the ball anyway. Call me a dinosaur but the whole inverted wingers infuriates me.
