  1. Like Monopoly stuff? We might be able to do that.
  2. As a squad option I think he's worth a look, a different sort of option to Mav on the left and capable of playing up front. Villareal would likely be keen too as a decent loan gets them shop window for Premier League money. The only issue from his and their side is playing time in order to put himself in that shop window.
  3. You'd have thought if anyone thought he was any good we'd have been getting offers at the pre-agreed fee from other clubs already though. And we haven't. Because nobody really pays those prices in Europe for that level of player. So even a good Euros won't elevate him enough imo. Unless the Danes win the lot and he stands out! And then you're likely only looking at Prem teams that are desperate. And even Prem spending has dried up a bit.
  4. Tierney is made of wet digestives. Not even on a free!
  5. He was a fairly decent second striker and we bought him and stuck him on the wing. He was for us what Iago Aspas was to Liverpool under Rodgers. A player brought in to play a role that didn't suit their skillset who subsequently went on to do well in their favoured position back in La liga.
  6. I've always defended Perez and always knew he was a class player. Always felt like he proper turned up for us, especially against Southampton and in the FA cup. And he's just had a great end of season and deservedly got his call up to the Spain squad. Long overdue. Always said he was quality. Always...
  7. But apart from that...
  8. Put it this way, 2 of our defenders just held the La Liga player of the season, Premier League Player of the season, Bundesliga golden boot winner, and a host of other top drawer players to a single goal. The future's bright. As long as they all continue to play like Southgate is their gaffer.
  9. Tbf he's in the toilet throughout the entire flight. Just shitting himself.
  10. As an out-n-out right winger he's the best of the 3. Palmer is better playing further inside and Gordon plays left for Newcastle in general.
  11. Eze to win it! Southgate hasn't had enough time with him to ruin him.
  12. Saka is trying his best but with no left sided attack the Danes can just shift over and put numbers in front of him. He needed to beat 3 men then just to be able to put a cross in.
  13. It's not Trents fault that Southgate has set us up to drop deep and play with no imagination.
  14. If Trent starts and Southgate wants midfield cover then he should have been trying him in the Ricardo role in the friendlies. It was worse when he used to play a back 5 and still have 2 defensive midfielders but even now we don't need a back 4 and 2 people playing just in front. The personnel we've got should be able to play keepball from the Danes. And we should be camped in their half.
  15. Is it? Have we ever had a pattern of play going forward under Southgate? His entire time in the job has been trying to cover up a lacklustre defence. Not sure he knows what's supposed to happen at the other end.
  16. Been getting tips from Brendan. Next up we'll work on conceding first and early.
  17. After what happened with Enzo they've all decided it's in Leicesters best interests that they don't attract any positive attention.
  18. He did play last season. Quite a lot.
  19. You prefer a long thought out narrative before the punchline?
  20. At the start of last season Forest tried to sign....
  21. If he's up for moving then the French clubs seem a bit of a no brainer to me. Monaco are CL already and Marseille and Lyon are always in with a shout of getting there. Top spot aside it's generally an open league.
  22. Does Corberan come with a guarantee of survival then? Seems like an opportunity missed if so.
  23. Can anyone actually tell me what kind of football Cooper plays? I watched his Forest in the Prem but to be honest couldn't really nail down what the hell was going on because the team was always changing and it was backs against the wall stuff from early on. Does he have a set philosophy or is he likely to adapt to the players he has?
