  1. Hurst and Cannon will probably bag 20 each whilst Daka will have knocked out his 6th ball boy
  2. Young keeper gets injured, comes back into the worst side in the league in a toxic environment and doesn’t perform to his best every game… Shock Still hasn’t even performed badly. Just not to what we’ve seen. Very understandable I think, we’re shite and down. He’s a quality shot stopper and good distribution. Deserves a chance at Chelsea better than that fraud they have. I’d swap him for maybe 5 keepers in the league at most.
  3. Ward for 15, anyone else in goal and we don’t go down in 23. This seasons decline began when he came on against Newcastle. We were fine before then. We never recovered from the Newcastle and Wolves humblings
  4. Thanks a lot mate
  5. How can I listen to radio Leicester commentary online ? Can only get the tigers
  6. Not ready for it, has more to give for us next season. I recon we can’t afford his wages next season as he made it clear he’s not retiring then. No mention of Rudkin also
  7. This is exactly it, a model that serves you well if you consistently bring in managers who play the same/ similar style of football like Brighton. This allows players with unique attributes, players like Winks and Vestergaard who are quite specialist in areas ( ball playing ) and very limited in others, to constantly be valued by the manager and always suit the team. However when you hire managers who differ vastly from one another in their style, as we have, and allow them to recruit for their desired style, you end up with a squad like ours, with players that don't compliment one another, leaving a patchwork team and ultimately a poor one. Furthermore, if you put your trust in managers recommendations and give them the final say, you allow for personal bias and ego to dictate signings. Rodger’s was evident here in his appointment of Congerton and his signings with us. FFP has meant that the need for a singing to be successful is vitally important, as the ability to sell them, especially with prem clubs having to pay a premium in wages and fee’s is so difficult if they don’t do well, as has happened with us with players like Daka and Bouba. Ultimately that is why clubs now leave signings to directors of football and their analysts, as they can recruit players consistently suiting the style of play the club has broadly decided to adopt. We need to shift to this model, it has its downsides, but ours has failed us.
  8. I’m not backing Rudkin, but it is interesting that anybody with any knowledge first hand of the man does speak highly of him. I know a few people who know him averagely well socially and they also speak very well of him. As mentioned on the pod, we are in this mess for a reason though and somebody is accountable.
  9. Didn’t work hard when we were relegated and went missing game after game. Newcastle supporting mate says the same thing
  10. Confidence absolutely shot, not enough quality and poor tactics. We were fighting for a large part of this season and should have come away with points in may more games but defeat after defeat has destroyed them

    Daka

Daka is a truly terrible football player. Can’t pass in any direction, awful touch, average acceleration, average finishing and is the worst dribbler I have ever seen. He’s the slowest quick footballer player I’ve seen. Much more suited to track than football as only once he gets going he’s quick. What really gets me is that he’s a big lad, yet is absolutely hopeless at using his weight/ body effectively. He’s a pacifist on the pitch. Hasn’t improved an ounce since being here, and that not due to a lack of game time. Hungry players put the hard yards in during training and after to improve, he evidently hasn’t. Worst signing of the last 20 years factoring in for wages and transfer fee.
  12. Blocked them, makes it much easier
  13. Season ticket holder, done 80% of the games home and away and I’m not going anymore this season, finished. It’s toxic and utterly depressing. You work hard all week and have two days off. It’s not worth my time going down. I’d rather spend it with my friends and family. That makes me sad though as I know I’ll have to wait until August for another game, almost half a year away, but it is what it is. The KP is a depressing place, it sucks all positivity from you at the moment. Only exception is if Vardy calls it a day, then I’ll be there only out of respect for the man.
  14. First ever game that I can make that I’ve willing decided I’m not going to, not selling on the ticket either
  15. Anyone want to swap my lower ground ticket for an upper. Got 4 at the top but 1 at the lower. Pretty sure turnstiles are separate ?
  16. Hope he stays, have good memories of him under Brendan
  17. Squad became stagnant, to many players here for to long and achieved all they could with us. (Post Forest interview) We needed to move them, get fresh faces in to help him maintain respect and hunger in that dressing room. All good managers have to overhaul the squad every three years. We didn’t, player became entitled and lazy and we plumited. We’re still suffering from this. His record of signings for us though was horrific so who is to say those we could have brought it would have been good. Although Lookman would have stayed and Charles de Ketelaere would have signed, the best two players in Seria A… So I blaim the board. We just simply cannot move players on, it’s pathetic.
  18. I loved him last season, was one of my favourite players. But even after all that, you give him a year, absolute maximum two, MAXIMUM. Three is genuinely spectrum level behaviour
  19. Ipswich look as bad as us
  20. Last time was one of the best away days of the season
  21. No I agree i don’t think we will piss it next season, players will go and the squad will change, it’s impossible to know. I only said we’d walk it as the original post asks how we’d do with this exact squad. And players like Facundo and Bilal are quality in this league, they would be simply outrageous in the Championship. KDH was a sorry excuse for a footballer the season we were relegated, and then was the main man. Bouba does my head in, but I think he’d be a real class above in that devision. Last time Winks played as a single pivot out of possession and we were hardly exposed and he can’t defend. The difference in devisions is so vast, these plays have enough there. I agree with your post tho, that’s also how I’d like the squad to be built. I don’t know why we stopped signing some of the best young players in the championship but I always think they’re a worthy gamble and I’d love to see us get a few, usually always hungry and we really lack that.
  22. Go to nearly all home and away, and I am sadly going to West Ham aha. You are completely right, we’re simply awful and have regressed to become the worst team in the league as the seasons gone on. But the level of the prem this season is the highest I’ve ever seen it, it’s quality. A decent manager with the below line up would win the championship Mads Ricardo, Faes, Okoli, VK Ndidi Winks Fatawu, Bilal, Mavididi Vardy Dont forget you’ve got Facundo coming off the bench. He has no right being in our squad let alone that league. I hate this side so much, but it walks the championship
  23. Walk it, if anyone here watches Championship football this year, you’ll see the league is utter dross. Last season was one of the most competitive of all time and we won it. Not saying we’ll do that next season, but this squad currently, Fatawu fit, would piss the league
