It's all irrelevant anyway, but we only have Daka, so I don't think Windass would have been a massive gamble at Championship level for no fee. Hell, I'd take his dad over Daka.

We should be going all out to get Josh Brownhill, but we won't. We should also have gone for Josh Windass, but we didn't. Two players who would have greatly enhanced the squad and available for free. We need to get players out, but with almost five weeks of the transfer window remaining, I don't see anyone leaving anytime soon.

The EPL may well be on the back foot, especially if we have Mr De Marco on board again, but as you say, it won't be down to them. I doubt it will be the same panel as last time, so let's hope they stay independent and none of them have their own agenda. I can't help being slightly cynical.
