Very exciting player, great work ethic, strong, quick, skilful, good defender and only 20.
-
A Very solid game and not sure why it's a surprise to everyone. He's a Danish international with 50 PL games and 185 Bundesliga games experience before we signed him. It's only Rodgers ridiculous treatment of him who choose to play Amartey over him that created this hatred towards him.

Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread

Hopefully, but like the season we got relegated there's so much negativity towards the club and board the stadium atmosphere is shocking as a result. The fans were half arse and so were the team in that 1st half. It can't be easy for the players to play in such apathy, once we scored and the atmosphere improved the team played with a lot more energy and desire because the support lifted them. At half time Carragher was comparing our stadium atmosphere to that of Ipswich and the contrast between newly promoted teams. If we have any chance of surviving the stadium support needs to be so much better. Christ this is probably Vardy's last season and the GOAT deserves a season long send off at home with proper support. -

This team is far weaker than the squad that was relegated. Even if we have a good end to the window and sign another 3 players it will still be weaker. We just need to be realistic, if we survive it will be a miracle. -

Great result, supporters need to forget all negativity with the club and board. The players deserve our support, the stadium atmosphere needs to be better so we can make the King Power a fortress. -
Amazing what a goal and a bit of an atmosphere can do

Forest didn't have any problems signing players, it's the complete opposite here!!!

So what do you suggest, we're not going to dominate possession or pass them off the park either. -

532 and hit them on the counter Hermansen Pereira Faes Vesty Okoli Kristiansen Winks Buonanotte Ndidi Fatawu Mavididi Subs - Alves on the bench to replace Buonanotte, and Cannon, BDR for the front two when they all tire. The best we can hope for is a defensive masterclass and hit them on the break.😂 -
We should concentrate on getting Rudkin out first, because if we protest at both Top and Rudkin they will unite and nothing will happen.
-
I knew this was taking too long, takes a day to agree a contract if a player wants to join as Hoffenheim have shown.
-
Yep, started the week excited with the news we're signing Hlozek and Zaha in time for Spurs. Now just really pissed off.
-
Just don't see this happening, Hlozek would have signed already if he was interested in the project, maybe that's our problem we just don't have a project😂
-
Very unlikely we're going to have a new striker registered by the Friday lunch deadline for the opening PL fixtures.
-
How long does it take to sort out personal terms. The clubs agreed the deal on Monday. Hlozek is obviously taking some convincing to join, otherwise we would have announced.
-
What system is his strength, walking football?
-
The club haven't announced his signing, they've taken all this into consideration and pulled out to pursue Ayew instead.
-
We can't blame club for this, if Zaha wants to come back to the PL then he'll have to take a tax hit, we're paying a loan fee and Galatasaray are covering his wages but they're not going to pay a UK tax bill.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
trooky replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
All this shows how disillusioned our fanbase is with the hierarchy of the club when our fans think we should accept any punishment without a fight or show of unity unlike the supporters of Everton or Forest. We support Leicester City, and should not be wanting the worst for our team just to spite King Power, Rudkin etc..... -
Here's a radical idea, why doesn't the club communicate it's strategy to the fan base so we don't go insane guessing on FT.
-
Yes everything you say is true, and the window is still open for 3 games until the end of August. Most teams will be in transition during this period still finalising their squads, but we've got the points deduction looming. I think we've missed a trick in not getting our business done early giving the manager time to work with a full squad of players. With a full squad we could really have targeted these 3 games and give us the best chance of getting 9 points, but at present were in disarray.
-
Cooper gas every right to be annoyed like us fans, we sold KDH end of June and a week before the season starts we only just have a replacement for him having missed all pre-season games We were short in midfield last year playing Ndidi as an 8, Praet and Agun also left and haven't been replaced either. Recruitment has been an absolute disaster, a week before the season our only fit striker is Cannon, a player neither Enzo or Cooper rates. Rudkin has to be sacked, he appoints a manager no one wants, then he can't recruit him the players we desperately need.
-
The Forest team had, Brennan Johnson, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awonyi in key attacking positions and didn't receive an 8-10 pts deduction either. Until we get superior players we stand no chance of staying up, especially with -8pts. They scored 23 PL goals between them, I don't believe Daka, Vardy, Mavididi and Buonanotte will get anywhere near that number.
-
Yes he's completely wasted our pre-season and succeeded in removing all our momentum and confidence from the promotion campaign. I can understand to an extent not using Alves with it being Cooper's first season at the club and trying to build a playing style for the first games with senior players. Cooper wouldn't have been my choice of manager but I'm prepared to give him some time until he gets the players we need to stop this season being a humiliation. The team wasn't equipped for the PL after promotion, with Ndidi playing as an 8, then we loose KDH. Daka and Cannon aren't the answer as strikers either, our recruitment has been a disaster so far. I don't understand, when we have a tight budget, why we wasted more money on a centre back when we already have Souttar and Nelson who are probably both better than Okoli. Having said all that Cooper still has to give Alves and Nelson plenty of minutes this season though, to develop our best prospects. It's going to be a tough watch.
-
Maybe Cooper doesn't know how to coach the inverted full back role, have any of his teams played that way before?
