Winks looked like a Rolls Royce in the Championship and more Ford Fiesta in the Prem. Hopefully Skipp can look decent in the Championship and help us have a decent season. We can then flog him the summer after when his reputation has rebounded.
-
Quite. Offer him a spot in the first team squad for next season. He shows up well it'll only increase his value to the big clubs interested. Worked well for Bellingham.
-
Looks like a few of our guys couldn't stick with the pace of the game. Ayew was very good but was gassed when he went off. Kristiansen has been storming up and down the left side but for that second goal he had nothing to get back. Centre backs have been good at least, particularly Okoli. Taking Ndidi off was a bad move.

Yeah what's Rachel done wrong. Not her fault Rudkin can't work with the recruitment team to identify and sign players within the given windows with the budget we have.
-
Not for long they don't.
-
Looks like he went off the boil this time last season and has missed a lot of this season with injury. Amorim's replacement has already been sacked. Doesn't sound like Sporting is a great place currently and Edwards has 18 months left on his contract. New manager might want to offload him to bring in somebody in a position of need.
-
Rumoured to be of interest to Sheffield United as well
-
Sounds like he wants a new challenge away from the Prem. Good luck to him. Amorim seems to be changing things at Utd but he's got a lot to do to get rid of the toxic culture there. Utd haven't exactly had great previous with developing talent through and making the most of their players, since Sir Alex retired anyway.
-
Probably for a last minute loan. Squad place and cash saved ready for somebody to come in and probably disappoint but we can but hope.
-
It's exhausting being told to **** off by players, agents and clubs every day for the month of January.
-
Cudicini was in two Chelsea squads that won the Prem but didn't play enough games for a medal, three and four Prem games respectively. He tended to play the cup games more. Hell of a back up keeper. Taibi similar at Utd, was there when they won the title but didn't play enough games. Difference being he wasn't very good.
-
Get a centre back, a box to box midfielder that can give our midfield some presence out of possession and a new fullback. Best we can hope for. Secure the defence, somehow we keep scoring goals. Got to stop conceding them.
-
Vesty, Coady, Soumare are all north of 6ft. Ndidi is 6ft. Isn't exactly helping us currently. Guéhi is 6ft so only an inch taller than the 5'11 from the proposed new signing. How aggressive and strong he is, how good a leap his got will be more important for aerial defence.
-
If options are short for him in January he might come back on loan to prove his fitness and use it as a springboard to get a deal out of Chelsea to a Champions League team next summer.
-
Dude is also 18 and by the sounds of it was signed for the academy and then forced his way up to the first team.
-
Matanovic or Ekitike from Frankfurt would be nice. Get a big bloke up top for some variation and the option to play more direct. They name drop Dario Osorio in the article as well and he's a right winger so could be seen as an alternative option to the injured Fatawa.
-
Sergio Conceição still hasn't got a new club. That might just be overly optimistic though. Suspect it'll be Moyes or RVN. Moyes will probably keep us up with a simple direct game plan. At least the defence will be organised. RVN managed to get a tune out of Utd in his brief spell in charge, he'd be an interesting punt.

Trying to sign players in January is always iffy, strikers doubly so. We'd end up paying through the nose. The only exception to that rule is if we can bargain hunt and find a former wonderkid that's made a move and not lived up to their promise yet. Similar to Tielemans. ManU have just done similar with de Ligt. Probably need a less high profile one that de Ligt. If we can pick up one or two still under 25 we could potentially get two or three good seasons and still net a profit.
-
You have to look at who we've played Vs expected results over the course of the season. Having played 7 games and sitting 15th is only good if that's the expected points per game for the teams played. We've got the likes of Liverpool and Man City to come home and away and a single point from those will be more than expected. To benchmark success the position in the league isn't a particularly useful indicator this early in the season.
-
Sérgio Conceição a manager we were reportedly very keen on back in 2017 is currently out of work after a successful spell at Porto. If we have doubts about Cooper then acting swiftly whilst a good quality manager like that is still unattached might be a good idea. Whether Sérgio Conceição would fancy the challenge is less certain.
-
If we can get his salary covered and maybe a small loan fee it's better than nowt. Just need one semi decent loan spell from him and it'll generate enough interest to offload him. Problem is we need an offer in excess of his amortised value in the accounts otherwise it's a chunky loss to suffer and not good for FFP.
-
Scored a lot at Celtic, hasn't shown the same form at Palace. Then again they've kept faith with him and he's managed 30 games a season so he must be half decent. If he was shit they'd have dropped him.
-
Thought they splashed £30m on Ward-Prowse. Not a bad option to have it you're going to be in a relegation fight like Forest will be. He scores set pieces and chips in with assists. I'd agree I don't think he's at the peak of his powers currently.
-
Or we've only had low bids and are playing hard ball. Adding some time pressure to negotiations to try and drive up the fee.
-
He's gone for the pay out like every other manager that goes there.
