I get it that we are poor, poorly run and Managed by RVN who is the wrong man at the wrong time and the performance and quality hasn’t been there all season but if clubs like us can only shop at Aldi because of PSR and Man City and Chelsea can shop and spend whatever they like and carry on sanction free then this type of result and season will be a regular occurrence for teams like us!
-
And they are bang average and possibly the worst United team for decades!
-
He should be called ‘Goal a game’ Soumare for the opposition! Fack me I’ve never seen a midfielder who is so so poor off the ball, can’t track a runner or get goal side. Him and Faes stink the place out with their attitude.

What a complete missed opportunity this is by the club. The whole of the Kop end should have been made safe standing. It’s an opportunity for a cull of those that don’t want this to move elsewhere and for those who do to relocate to the safe standing area. People will just stand in the areas adjacent to the safe standing zones 100%. The whole cashless based system that society apparently wants us to adopt is all about greed and control and the EPL and Leicester are no different. I do feel for those on here who are having to purchase a burner phone just to ticket share. There should be a card or paper ticket option. The choice should be there just as in society to use a phone, tap a card or pay cash! Time for the Tennis ball protest!

I agree fans used to be able to congregate where the noise was especially before seats went in. I remember the chants from the Spion Kop going round the ground, 'East Stand, East stand give us a song!' Unfortunately modern football crowds are now all like the old Main Stand at Filbert Street, everyone is just part of the revenue stream and like CosbehFox said there's no cyclic nature to the supporter base and you can't just think lets go down to the King Power with your mates and sit together. What chance do you have if you fancy watching a match on an ad hoc basis at home, let alone an away game. In the early 90s you could go to Charlton away, Portsmouth or Luton away if you felt like it and pay on the gate. I think that the Premier League regulations, pricing, over zealous security and stewarding result in stifled atmospheres throughout the country that only come to life when a team are winning or on a winning run. A good number of our fans reflect this and feel that they have to attend as they have a season ticket and becomes habit forming. In the 80s and 90s those individuals would not have attended every match and the seats would have been empty or stands less crowded.

Exactly! There is hope , John Eustace has just won two on the spin with Derby. Money talks, bin him now and appoint someone until the end of the season, with a non relegation bonus. Plenty of mercenaries out there I’m sure. Someone who won’t play Vestergaard and Soumare or play Vardy for 90 minutes every week even if he tells you he is ok. -

Well he’s gone 532 and binned Vestergaard, now just the other jinx Soumare to go! Hopefully we may see some improvement if he starts Ricardo instead of him. -
Vestergaard banished?
-
I’m glad he’s gone 532 and completely dropped Vestergaard but would rather see Okoli that one if the left backs. Wish Soumare wasn’t in the squad either!
-
Just seen on a newsfeed that there squad is only worth 1.66 billion! Poor Chelsea.
-
How many more youth players than us do they buy and chuck on the slag heap to achieve a Phil Foden? It would be nice if he his parents and agent decided to stay and become the next Heskey! He will become wealthy anyway even if he slums it at Seagrave.
-
I bet Jeremys parents and agent have always dreamed about him signing for Man City, and then the subsequent loan after loan before his Carabao cup appearance in 5 years time!
-
What a lift he gave us, and the fans got behind him with probably one of the best and most vociferous sung songs during that era! I loved that Charlton away game, what a first goal! As for the play off final winner, probably one of the greatest moments I have witnessed watching Leicester, it certainly was the best ever moment up to that point!

Rodger’s vs the board (chicken vs egg)
Parker Pen replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
I do hope that Ridgers looks back at his time here and realises how his frequent poor decision making especially around man management is also as much a contributing factor alongside not being given millions of pounds to torch on average players because crooked Lee had wasted it all! Two come to mind; Ending Kaspers record breaking consecutive match run at Watford away by playing Ward and Brentford at home in the sun on the opening match of the season. I still am massively suspicious about what he did during that match! -
Most teams like Middlesbrough that had the measure of us last season played 532. That’s what I would do and not play Vestergaard and Soumare. In fact they wouldn’t be in the first team squad again this season.
-
Ffs That’s absolutely pathetic by Cunha and the Bournemouth player Kerkez! Players like Elliot, Walsh and Roy Keane would have laughed at him.
-
Reinforced by that ‘leave’ for the first West Ham goal and inability to head the ball for Wolves first at home.
-
The article highlights the lack of leadership doesn’t it because why does it need a leaked press story to highlight your issues. Ruud and His coaching staff should be making them run laps around Vicky park if they had any bottle! Clearly it suggests that the problem children are Vestergaard, Winks and Coady. Transfer list all 3 and make them train on their own.

There’s clearly a complete disconnect between him and some of the players. God knows what his tactics are! Whatever they are the players can’t/wont put them into practice! It’s failed Top, you made the decision now sack him as well. Take a leaf out of Steve Parish’s book and keep sacking until you get the right man! -
That was/is worse than 2001/2 against a bang average West Ham team. I can’t believe that this time last season we competed with and beat Bournemouth away in the cup with our reserves.

The worst ever player to pull on a Leicester Shirt that I have seen play for us!
-
If West Ham were playing against their training Mannequins they would have a tougher game!

Recruitment stats don’t include Leadership! 100% we lack from a playing staff perspective. Walsh and Pearson got the talent and leadership blend spot on. Ranieri piggy backed that for one season and led from the front. After that I would argue that we have struggled to recruit an onfield leader and since first Wes retired and Kasper was let go we have nobody. Kasper for me was a complete scandal who set high standards for himself both in and off the pitch that he measured others by! We were fortunate with Enzo as he was an off field leader and controlled pretty much everything due to his workaholic approach. Cooper by comparison was an absolute shambles. Add to that a recruitment strategy that has failed since Congerton and now Glover overseen by Rudkin we are have replaced good players with bang average. We haven’t learnt or grown in that department. Replace Rudkin and Glover And start again. Some of the kids who play Championship manager have a far better scouting network than us!

Ayew, Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi, McAteer ?

Change the shape to a 352/532 then you wouldn’t have to play any of them! Drop Soumare as well whilst you are at it. You could leave them all at home as they are all beyond poor. Pack the midfield with Ndidi and one of the Spurs boys plus Facundo and leave Bulal upfront with either Vardy, Daka or even give Edouard a go in a front two. Puts two or theee of the Under 21s on the bench and give it a go. 14/15 was a 352!
