  1. Great Keeper for us, some outstanding saves, crucial interceptions and bright moments that led to us counter attacking! From what I can see a nice bloke with a great future in the game.
  2. I moved from the West stand to SK2 last season with my son to get away from the stuffy Killjoys, but they are everywhere unfortunately. The UFS lads should be encouraged by their fellow supporters who should join in and let go a little bit. The staged choreography that the club want suffocates any natural atmosphere that the crowd generate. The grassline and the hijacking of ‘When you’re smiling’ point to what the club not the fans want!
  3. Good Business for us and he’s been a solid performer since he arrived and I would say outstanding in his first couple of seasons. You dont have the saying ‘No Wilf no Win’ given to you lightly by the fans do you? But since the run of hamstring injuries he hasn’t been the same player. Good luck to him!
  4. Will provide good back up to Stolarcyk and will allow us to bring Stevie Bausor into the first team squad. Good move for Begovic as well to develop as a potential first team GK coach and forge links no doubt between his GK academy and the club. If Mads is sold then good luck to him because we need the funds to reinvest in the squad.
  5. I agree and that’s why it’s important that Marti trims the squad and is ruthless with those that don’t want it or fancy it next season,
  6. Outstanding talent and thoroughly enjoyed watching him. His balance strength and poise are fantastic for such a young lad.
  7. Couldn’t agree more, Ndidi and Soumare offer that but aren’t seen as good with the distribution. Winks definitely not at it today and Skipp just isn’t very good. Again the young lads getting stuck in was promising and if Silko could head then that could/should have been 2-2.
  8. There are no leaders in this 11 and nobody with any physicality! Winks and Skipp are hopeless out of possession as are Coady and Vestergaard. Just so feeble.
  9. Other than Ward v Wolves and Soumare every week, an Ian Ormondroyd moment sticks in my mind when he was clean through v Charlton away when we packed out Upton Park and just trod on the ball and crumpled like a new born giraffe! You couldn’t fault his effort mind, unlike as mentioned on the thread the likes of Beckford.
  10. Phil Gee’s brace v Derby in the 3-2 win 1992, overshadowing Kitson and the other Direby superstars.
  11. Great analysis and certainly leaves you feeling positive which is what we all need and will hopefully clear some of those negative waves.
  12. Only 30% of businesses passed on to or inherited by children succeed!
  13. Appointing Gary O’Neill would be like rolling a hand grenade into a room with the pin pulled out.
  14. Some impressive performances from the younger players, Paige, Joseph, Thomas, Monga, Aluko and Alves. All keen to track back as well! I also thought Nelson Winks and Justin looked good as well.
  15. Great spot! Just looked him up and he is listed at Companies house as a Property developer.
  16. Football Love a bit of ‘Left by Mutual Consent.’ don’t they? All Smoke and mirrors; I’m sure there’s the accounting figures from LCFC and then the nice Tax free bonus he receives via an off shore account.
  17. You have to make the step up at some point, a good recent example is Tom Cleverly at Watford and also Keith Andrew’s potentially stepping up from set piece coach to manage Brentford. Sometimes the right circumstances dictate taking the opportunity when it arises.
  18. Also we have them at home on the opening day! Coincidence or just randomly drawn by the fixture computer?
  19. To be fair to Dyche I don’t remember Burnley in the Championship when we had Nigel at the helm being particularly boring to watch, and again the following season in the Premier League they kept coming at us to force a 2-2 draw. Didn’t his Everton side win 5-1 away at Brighton the same day we got dicked 5-3 at Fulham. I’m like LVFox and Don’t mind us bringing Dyche in so long as the likes of Rohl are also considered.
  20. I was thinking the same thing that someone like him with £190 million burning a hole in his pocket could be approached to buy his way into the club in the same way that he did at Palace with a multi club approach.
  21. He 100% gives that vibe, and reckon his dad at 60 would have been a better option for us last season.
  22. Great stat! But what about their contracts ffs!
  23. Great News - we need some of his positivie waves to spread through the rest of the squad!
  24. Also one of the most iconic pieces of commentary that encapsulates how as described in the thread time stood still! And that’s…..
