Tony was 32 when he signed for us, Kevin was 40... bit unfair to lump Tony in this bucket.

The working population don't hate the elderly, but I think they do increasingly resent being asked to pay for their health and personal care when said elderly are often sitting on enormous wealth accrued through property bought cheaply, while said working population are paying a fortune to try to get to anything like the property their parent own. Obviously those who have little need state support. Those who don't shouldn't get it really. much as I would like to inherit a lot of money from the older generation in my family, I would rather not need it to pay off my mortgage before I retire (and I am lucky to be able to get that mortgage in the first place).

This is true, and we can start by not treating anyone who opposes some aspects of migration like they are racist / xenophobic.
-
The obviously economic migrants who come here illegally, are not allowed to work (legally) for years while we process their applications, who are provided with accommodation and benefits (often despite working illegally) and then end up in legal appeals which cost a fortune before eventually either being kicked out or staying - by this point they would need to reach CEO level to make a positive contribution so it doesn't really matter. Nothing wrong with trying to stop that sort of migration while ensuring fast and affordable visa routes for those with the skills our economy needs, or fast (offshore) processing for those who have a genuine need for asylum.

Good luck Wilf, he's been a great signing for us, and wish him all the best.
-
Its a good decision for him. Reminds me of Scott Parker back int he day - he gave it his all and wasn't close to making it as a first team regular, sees more players coming in and makes the tough call.
-
Looking at Tielemans' fitness now, he was taking the piss with us.

It was bound to happen, the military is a politically powerful force in Thailand, and it’s expedient for those who rely on political support for their wealth to toe the line.

I couldn't care less about Leeds, take their money. Not a competitor for at least 12 months, possibly longer. -
Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Each Peach Pear Plum was a favourite when our kids were little. Lovely books. -
He will do well for them I think, they have come a long way fast and need a good leader to get them through the tough moments which will come this season. And to talk on social media. Gerrrimin Wrexham!

That and some legal activism I think.

Dju Dju Dju the funky gibbon?

They haven't found out the colour of the policemen in question yet.

It’s not the RNLIs fault, the border force should have boats out there.

Have we? who?

I am going to say with absolute certainty we are going to win more than we lose this season. Get in!!

Most loans happen a bit later than this to be fair, and I doubt any of our lot are top of anyone's list. Even if they were they probably think they can do better, so you end up waiting until the aims of the player and potential club align. Which is not in July.

A what? Prem you mean?
-
Let’s hope not, although there is plenty of hate to go round for sure.

The good news is asking Enzo would be pointless as he will have sod all to do with players not on his 1st team list.
-
Exactly. I'm not going to get too upset though about people who have zero knowledge of this type of issue or experience managing people in tricky situations or understanding of the fine margins between high performance and meh. Its Friday after all!

Why would he not sign IF he was not asked to move closer or stay overnight before games at that point? You can't then demand it 18 months later and throw a hissy fit when he says no, it's pathetic and contrived.

This is something you agree at the point of contract, you cannot impose it later on. He might have had a wife who needed to be close to family for reasons which are none of our business.
