Comedy Highlights Of A Terrible Season
rugbyblue replied to Skidmark's topic in Leicester City Forum
We haven't had much to laugh about this season granted. But we all know the problems and likely most of us have had our rant/ moan about them at some point. Remember we do this supporter thing because we (supposedly) love/enjoy it. This thread has made me smile and its a welcome relief from the sh*t -

Comedy Highlights Of A Terrible Season
rugbyblue replied to Skidmark's topic in Leicester City Forum
The cup game against QPR. Havent looked like scoring for the vast majority of the season and the day we score 6 we couldn't see 3 of them 😂- 73 replies

Thank you. I did suspect that tourist areas would be fine. The media does tend to scare monger at times. Its good to hear that from someone who has been. Ive been many dodgy places when i was younger and got out of any potential scrapes. Its a bit different when you have your child with you, so thank you.

Sounds like you had a great time. Im off to stockholm in 2 weeks for djurgarden v AIK and 3 days in the city. Its me and my 15 year old daughter going and your last paragraph got my attention. Sweden gets some bad press these days for violence and gang related stuff. My thoughts are that its probably overblown and because historically sweden has always been so safe and that its probably restricted to some of the suburbs between themselves. I suppose my concern is for my daughter as we intend to explore Stockholm too. I cant imagine stockholm being any more dodgy than London or even Birmingham or Manchester. What would you say?

Applications for a 25/26 Season Ticket as a Member
rugbyblue replied to niyaminski's topic in Ticket News and Travel
This time around is probably best chance of getting one as a member. Possible high amount of non-renewals, lack of interest from some members after a terrible season. If we do well next season interest will probably grow for season after. But the thing is with matchday prices as they are, i wont and i imagine many more wont, accrue many more points to catch up with some, if they are charging 50 odd quid a game to watch distinctly average teams in the Championship -
I wasn't going to go political on a football forum

Im struggling to think of two people id less rather meet.

Yep 👍👍 Get your stats, all of them except goals for and against, get your xg, get your automated b0llox and stick them firmly and roughly up your anal passage. Oh yeah.....and your VAR

For all the hatred of digital tickets (i usually prefer paper myself) on this occasion its handy. Nice weather, last min decision to head down for the night, few hours on the beach, a beer in the sun and watch us get beat!

rugbyblue replied to OmarMhaidi's topic in Ticket News and Travel

Football wise.....going to london on my own for the first time for play off final. I had a childs ticket and was smoking at wembley Park station. This absolute c0ck of a copper loved pulling me aside and telling me i could either keep the half fare ticket or keep my fags but not both!! W@nker!! He was properly smug!! Obviously i kept my half fare ticket!! Non football wise....."amusing" myself over Madonna, Whitney houston, kim wilde etc posters in smash hits....or if i was lucky, finding my dads real mags !!😂

Just take that in......£55!! Its fvking ludicrous. And who is going to pay that in the Championship next season ?

However did football get to be the most popular game on the planet without var and goal line tech and all the sky razmatazz. Beyond me!!!

I agree that we most definitely shouldn't be where we are but it is entirely unrealistic to be expecting us to challenge for the title or even top four year after year. We had the mother of all seasons in 15/16 and a couple of very good ones further down the line. But without being one of the big clubs it isn't sustainable, especially in the premier league with the money that has to be consistently spent to stay up there. Look at Blackburn, ourselves who couldn't maintain it, villa had a great season and Newcastle. Its forest this year. They will fall away again and another "upstart" will briefly make waves. Its similar in europe over the years. La liga is real, barca or athletico year after year. Valencia had a couple of titles then faded away, as did deportivo who are nowhere now. Germany is all bayern and sometimes dortmund with wolfsberg and leverkusen getting the odd look in. Italy similar....the same teams winning it. Napoli only one to have won it apart from inter, ac and juventus since about 2000. Money has ruined the competition. Teams can have a good few years but unless they have endless funds and global appeal its usually short lived. We have fallen harder than most but to expect us to be up there year after year.....it isnt happening sadly. And no i dont clap sh*t off the pitch or w*nk off to King Power. Im just being realistic .

I got one for cougars. Bit dangerous to adopt one of those though

Maybe hes doing the universal sign for "loco" ......either at signing for us or Ruuds team selection. Correct on both counts

Juat watching football league highlights (in preparation). So many goals......i wonder what it feels like. Lucky so and so's. On the plus side its possible Leeds could fall apart again. That would amuse me if they end up in the play offs again.

The clubs, tv execs and the governing bodies dont give a single solitary f*#k about match going fans. They haven't for some time . Just keep that tv money coming and dont worry about the plebs that travel up and down the country at stupid hours, using their annual leave!

Im convinced for some of them, its something to do or they get a kick out of messing people around
