  1. Ha.. Good plan. Thanks again
  2. Aha!!! I knew i didnt imagine it!! Thank you. Officially an og but at the time it was credited to him. Great stuff 👍👍
  3. Ok thanks for replying. Looks like i lost. Thanks Ian ormondroyd ...you cost me a pint!!
  4. Thanks. Must be my memory failing. Age for you .
  5. Can someone settle an argument/discussion. In my mind im pretty sure i went to leicester v arsenal at filbo around 94 and ormondroyd scored from a tight angle against seaman at kop end. Cant find it on youtube or anywhere. Is my memory playing tricks? Im sure this happened. Help!
  6. Is that technically sh*tting yourself? No ruined pants so it doesn't count 😂
  7. Whatever. Some might say its part of the clubs masterplan. Cheap tickets easier to buy after christmas when sales might go supersonic. D'you know what i mean?
  8. I got one as a member too, so assuming it went to all members too
  9. Great thanks. Funnily enough i was looking for the fixtures and season start date the other day. Thanks a lot 👍
  10. No idea. Id rather it was 50 mins of football and no slobber rather than sit through gobshites waiting for city who are invariably toward the end of the hour and half show
  11. I certainly do. I actually mute and go and get a drink when the ultra micro analysis takes place. Quite simply.....boring. More footage, less talk
  12. I tend to agree. The club want to know every season ticket holders and members name, address age etc. They aren't going to let some herbert just waltz in off the street without paying
  13. Thank you. I hope so too. It looks incredible from footage ive seen.
  14. Good to know thank you. It will be the first time going to a foreign game so im starting from scratch 👍
  15. I didnt realise this thread existed until it was pointed out to me......so ..... My daughter and i are going to sweden next year and id love to take in a Stockholm derby while we are there. We are flexible on dates so i will look at fixtures. My question is does anyone know of any reputable football tour agents that aren't rip off merchants and i will actually get genuine tickets for a game. Any recommendations most welcome
  16. Thank you

  18. Yes you are thinking how i was. I accept there haven't been many good performances but the last couple i think have been good so i wouldn't drop him. Point taken about the championship.
  19. Im a little stumped by the lack of interest in him by Consecutive city managers. I saw him i think 4 times last season and i think he scored 3 goals that i saw in person. The other time he was played out wide which didn't work. But i thought he was useful, certainly more presence and physicality than daka and he can finish....he wasn't given a proper opportunity or regular appearances to make more of an impression. Id certainly have him back here now. I dont have any inside knowledge but my only assumption is that he has done something to put him in the bad books with enzo and then cooper
  20. There was a point not so long ago that i genuinely despised the idea of ever seeing him in a city shirt again. But credit where it is due ive been quite impressed with recent performances. Whether hes putting himself in the shop window or whether he genuinely wants us to do well, i can't make a case for dropping him at present. He can be a powerful presence in midfield if he keeps this current level of motivation. That said he cannot let his performance level slip an inch as he doesn't have the credit in the bank for any leeway , from me anyway
  21. I actually think we are a bit better than that. Ok i know we aren't 1970 brazil or even 2015 city but we aren't getting dicked every time out (brentford aside) and are picking up points against half decent sides like Brighton and bournemouth and have beaten sides down the bottom in Southampton and west ham. I think we have more about us than Ipswich, Southampton, everton and Wolves and we were hampered by coopers negativity in most of the first 12 games. Im optimistic of a mid table finish. Not setting the world alight but i can see us getting better as the season progresses under ruud
  22. Best way. I always get a taxi on nights out. I get to the bar , order 6 pints, drink one, leave 5, gone before my mates even arrive . Loads of cabs. Sorted, no hassle and at least i had a bit of drink .
  23. 80 minuters.......yes I know you have a life outside of football. Most of us do. But most of us accept if we are going to the football then its going to take up your afternoon. We dont make other plans at 5pm. If it takes an hour, hour and a half to get home, so be it. I realised that was likely to be the case when i bought the ticket . Out of interest what did you do with all that time you saved? Build a scale model of the eiffel tower out of matchsticks? Learn swahili? Read the complete works of Shakespeare ?
  24. Enzos style of play wasn't to everyones liking but inside a week we seem, to me anyway, to have reverted back to that a little, playing out a bit more from the back , using mads as a ball playing keeper, keeping hold of the ball for periods (at times). Personally i think we look better for it and the players seem comfortable with it, which makes sense given it was drilled into them by enzo. I still can't fathom why Cooper changed so much of what we were good at last season. Overall we deserved a draw i think and with buanotte and winks still to come back, i can see us improving further. We will never be world beaters with this squad but i think a comfortable mid table finish is a realistic aim this season. There is some sh*t in this division and brighton are one of the better sides.
