  1. It's been a domino effect since winning the league. Earnings restricted, spending power diminished - a complete failure to deal with clubs who have been cheating on an industrial scale - which has led us to this point. The club needs to start getting aggressive on this.
  2. I strongly believe a fan or consumer group could prove, at least not under a Tory government, that the TV deal - which underpins everything - is unlawful under competition law. That would be the very first step to reform. Take away their toy.
  3. Not after their behaviour towards us since winning the league: I am absolutely not joking about taking action against the Premier League by the way. We need to start working with other non-"big six" clubs to bring it down.
  4. SUE THE ****ING PREMIER LEAGUE AND BRING THE CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE CRASHING DOWN.
  5. FANS need to be doing something about this. They need to be educated and organised. And they need to be petitioning the (next) government over reform. First thing to start with is the TV deal with Sky. It is anti-competitive, provably terrible for non-"big six" clubs and UK fans alike. It has quitely literally created a cartel situation, whereby the Premier League (business owner) colluding with participants (the "big" clubs) and restricting access (via broadcasters) in order to restrain competition (the "other 14") and prices for consumers (us). cartel noun a group of similar independent companies who join together to control prices and limit competition Take away their oxygen as a first step. This needs to be done.
  6. In fairness, I've lived on the periphery of the city my entire life, when I've not lived abroad, and I have very little interest in the city either.
  7. Will the punishment for winning their closed league never end? Cheated out of fair earnings by their corrupt TV deal. Cheated out of fair competition by having our spending power restricted by their FFP/STCC rules after winning the league. Cheated out of two seasons in the Champions League by their failure to deal with Man City. Cheated out of our Premier League status by their failure to deal with Everton. I'm not saying the club itself isn't culpable. But I honestly don't see the point in bothering to compete in a competition that is blatantly set up for and operated in collusion with so-called "big clubs" that not only act with impunity but keep desiring more and more power and money for themselves. And I'm ****ing sick of it. The Premier League, their broadcasters and their cartel clubs have and still are causing direct harm to our football club, our local economy and our community. Leicester City Football Club needs to ****ing stand up for itself and with the City council petition the incoming Labour government to reform the entire structure of the football pyramid in a way that doesn't benefit parasites like Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. Ths ****ing farce has gone on long enough.
  8. In fairness to Pipes I think he's completely erased last season from his memory, like me. Games, stats, streaks, goals. Everything.
  9. My worlds are colliding.
  10. Found in a Father Ted facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/689728528631817/permalink/1460412714896724/
  11. The football or the whiksy?
  12. Labour are the incoming government and pressure needs to be put on them by the club, non-“big” clubs, and fan groups like @Foxes_Trust to understand the state of the sport and how to rectify it without fear or favour for the corrupt clubs.
  13. As of this story this afternoon, amazingly, Scousers.
  14. Funny how we might be having financial issues after the Premier League restricted our earnings and spending power after winning the league, with our eventual ascent in 2019-2022 spooking the "big clubs" enough that they would a) try to restructure the league to benefit only them with "Project Big Picture" in 2020 and after that failed b) try to set up their own "European Super League" in 2021 in an attempt to bankrupt the rest of the footballing pyramid with their own league just for them. While at the same time c) Manchester City managing to get a CAS panel, 66% of which was their choosing, to overturn a UEFA ruling on the technicality of it being "time barred" after they spent 5 years refusing to cooperate with the authorities, and thereby keeping us out of an earned Champions League place twice. "We don't want too many Leicester Citys" The Premier League's protectionism of their most popular members; their failure to deal with Man City's cheating in time; and their failure to deal with Everton's cheating in time, is what lead to our financial issues and our eventual relegation. We have been cheated, pure and simple, and that should be our reaction to any charge of "failing" to deal with our finances, if their client media (known for being corrupt liars) is true. I want Top, Susan and Rudkin to ****ING STAND UP FOR OURSELVES and take these corrupt ***** head on. When Labour get in, we need to be taking this to government level and try and bring the whole thing crashing down. **** it.
  15. Give us an election you shit.
  16. I don’t know why but Primark has got me laughing this morning.

  18. Just to really rub it in.
  19. Is it wrong that I really want to report them retrospectively for not following COVID guidelines?
  20. Our administration is constantly brought up as an argument against us by people who have no idea what they were talking about. We didn't break any rules, and it was caused by a concoction of about 4 events: 1. Walkers Stadium build at £32m. 2. Relegation. 3. ITV Digital collapse. 4. Dennis Wise suing us for compensation. ITV Digital's collapse pulled the rug of funding for the entire Football League structure overnight, and is directly linked to the administration of at least 14 clubs in the 2 years after. Dennis Wise and his agent Eric Hall sued us after we sacked him for assaulting a teammate in his sleep and breaking his jaw. Those are two unique circumstances that were beyond our control. Our new stadium was also a unique factor that is particularly grating when you consider it only cost £32m to build, and clubs such as Man City and West Ham have had their stadiums (built at multiple the cost of ours) have had stadiums given to them for basically nothing by the taxpayer. We didn't break any rules. There were no points deductions at the time either. Even if we'd got a 10 points deduction that season, we would still have finished in the automatic promotion places. Our administration did not affect any other club; in fact, 13 other clubs suffered administration thanks to the same thing that caused ours. ---- Meanwhile. Everton ****ing cheated. Over multiple seasons. They knowingly broke the rules, ignoring warnings from the Premier League that they were doing so. In breaking the rules they not only cheated every other club that stuck to the rules, they directly harmed the clubs around them in the table who put themselves in danger by not breaking the rules. That points deduction should have been awarded last season when it would have actually punished them. This isn't just Everton by the way. The Premier League's failure to deal with Man City for 15 years directly prevented us from qualifying for the Champions League TWO SEASONS IN A ROW, causing a financial shortfall of 80% over those seasons, which put us in the position to be cheated by Everton. We've lost out on hundreds of millions from participation in the CL, sponsorships, ticket sales and forced squad fire sales including devalued assets. We need to get back what we're owed. ****ing sue Everton.
  21. Recently spoke to a Spurs fan who said they genuinely preferred finishing in the top 4 over winning trophies.
  22. Now this would be a fascinating scenario. Remember the mother of all whinges Liverpool kicked up a couple of years ago with a similar situation?
