I think we are all up to speed with the Top and Rudkin managerial recruitment process now. 1. Sack current manager 2. Do nothing for a few days 3. Realise a match is happening soon, pick whoever is left from coaching staff as caretaker 4. Have a few meetings where it is agreed that we should start a process to think about who the new manager should be 5. A few weeks pass, caretakers lose several games 6. Realise that neither Top or Rudkin know anything about any prospective managers. Phone the 1 or 2 agents they know to see if they have a manager on the books 7. See if Graham Potter still has their number blocked in his phone. 8. Sift through CVs that arrived in the post. What's a Jesse Marsh? 9. Appoint some horrific agent suggested desperation choice, 3-4 weeks after previous incumbent sacked. 10. Set up email rules for new managers address - send all emails featuring words "transfer", "window" and "budget" to deleted items. 11. Resume nap/holiday/polo season.

Why does he look so much like Oliver Skipp though?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Coops would never have lost 3-0 to Man United, oh wait. Cooper and Ruud are two sides of the same shitty coin. -
They also have An Arse (Fernandes)

Very glad I didn't go tonight. An entire season that's been a complete and total waste of everyone's time and money.

Play this last home game of the season / home game where relegation is confirmed. Lyrics I know, I know I've let you down I've been a fool to myself I thought that I could live for no one else But now, through all the hurt and pain It's time for me to respect The ones you love mean more than anything So, with sadness in my heart Feel the best thing I could do Is end it all and leave forever What's done is done, it feels so bad What once was happy now is sad I'll never love again My world is ending I wish that I could turn back time 'Cause now the guilt is all mine Can't live without the trust from those you love I know we can't forget the past You can't forget love and pride Because of that, it's killing me inside It all returns to nothing It all comes tumbling down Tumbling down, tumbling down It all returns to nothing I just keep letting me down Letting me down, letting me down In my heart of hearts I know that I could never love again I've lost everything, everything Everything that matters to me matters in this world I wish that I could turn back time 'Cause now the guilt is all mine Can't live without the trust from those you love I know we can't forget the past You can't forget love and pride Because of that, it's killing me inside It all returns to nothing It just keeps tumbling down Tumbling down, tumbling down It all returns to nothing I just keep letting me down Letting me down, letting me down It all returns to nothing It just keeps tumbling down Tumbling down, tumbling down It all returns to nothing I just keep letting me down Letting me down, letting me down Ah, ah, ah, ah Tumbling down Tumbling down Tumbling down Ah, ah, ah, ah Letting me down Letting me down Letting me down Ah, ah, ah, ah Tumbling down Tumbling down Tumbling down Ah, ah, ah, ah Letting me down Letting me down Letting me down

TV people: I know what fans want - remove all those filthy clips of non big 6 teams playing games, replace them with more ex Manchester United players talking about Manchessteryanited for 2 hours. Perfect!

Can't see Dyche wanting this job - his whole reputation hinges on being pragmatic and organising teams, and being able to avoid relegation. He's just had a payoff off Everton, so he doesn't need the money now. We have nothing on our squad that suits him in defence, he already didn't fancy Coady at Everton , plus we have no big man up front - the jobs a poisoned chalice, he'd be better off leaving it and picking up a better job next season. -

Review document leaked in full: What was relegation? Bad. What letter do they put next to a team's name in the league table when they go down? R Bad + R = BRAD Thus ends my review of the season and who was to blame. Lots of love Jon (Age 57 and 1/4)- 151 replies

Should be a big improvement to the Back 4 - although I could easily see the dog doing a better job of staying in a solid defensive line than Faes

thankyou for all your support this season

Bring back BlueRedSwed. Oh, and bring back that "Surprise, we're back mathfackers" Algerian guy, they were the best. -
Might be tricky to get tickets for Friday on the phoneline...

Hopefully that is the case! Given our current plight though, having some money to spend in January now could have been crucial if it allowed us to do something about that hideous defence without upsetting the PSR applecart. Instead, we will get relegated again and watch our biggest income (Prem TV cash and prize money) gone and replaced by smaller parachute payments, meaning the financial woes we have drag on for yet another year. A bit of extra cash down the road when we are in the champ won't do us any good if it just gets thrown into Teflon Jon's never ending PSR hole while we rot in the EFL.

Of course, to get the tribunal fee, the tribunal actually has to take place. Aren't we still waiting for Nyoni's tribunal? Playing his second season of making first team appearances for them now...

Failed to agree a break cause in January for Odsonne Edouard's loan from Palace, despite the fact that we previously loaned out Luke Thomas to a Prem club (Sheff United) and let them have a clause to terminate in January, so were perfectly aware that it was a thing and might be a good idea. Didn't Slimani have a release clause, which we waited until after it expired then signed him a few weeks later for more money than the clause amount? -
Both of them have experience of failing to organise a proper defence, and being sent down. Ideally qualified for our current position then.
-
This years accounts will surely be bad though, won't they? KDH and Enzo money was last season, and this year we've added stupid amounts to our Amortisation for Skipp, Okoli and Ayew, along with Bilal and Abdul. We'll have crap prize money from the Prem for finishing low, and when we go down that will mean our PSR loss allowances get knocked down again, as it will be 2 out opf 3 years in the cycle as a EL club. Won't be surprising if we get the transfer embargo / business plan treatment again in January (although, most Januarys are embargo flavoured in Rudkin land)

Would be delighted with this - we go down in the most embarassing fashion imaginable, and Teflon Jon has to go before the media twice a week and explain exactly why his team, recruitment, and managerial appointments got us into the situation. -

One point above the bottom 3 at the time, and 2 above 19th - ahead of Palace who've massively picked up form since then. Kept Forest up because he had a net spend of a small country, then was shielded from relegation by a Rudkin and Rodgers human shield hurling itself into the bottom 3 Sacked by Forest as they had zero faith he would keep them up in a league with Luton, Burnley and Shef Utd in it. Literally the only difference inn points is the 3 extra he got vs Russel Martin's Southampton, on course to be the worst Prem team of all time. He'd have been 18th at best right now.
