Yeah just from the fact I don't live in South Leicester, we barely played them for years after I went to my first game in the 80s and they've always been a mid-table irrelevance. The Forest and Derby games have always been bigger to me. Im not playing it down as a game, just the "rivalry". I grew up on the 90s ding dongs with Arthur Cox's dream team and the fall of post-Clough Forest. That whole "we hate Forest, hate Derby, who the fk are Coventry" is about where I'm at. It's 3 points and 6 fingered cabbages hanging bed sheets off the M69 bridges with burning helicopters on doesn't change the amount of points.

They're all "slow burners" til they get actual game time. The division is full of teams giving their youth players a chance - because they havent got underperforming deadwood like Faes, Kristiansen, BDR and Soumare taking up spaces in it. I get it at PL level its a huge jump so you loan them out. But this is the division you loan them out to, as we're here we should be playing them in it.

£248M over the last 3 summers hasn't done it, why should a few more quid on BDR? As ever this is another case of zero information being released. We'll find out in a few years about an underlying issue or some sort of cover up, football is littered with them. If he'd actually been away with his country and offered an extended rest you'd expect a top, committed player to be straight back at it and wanting to make amends for last season not turning up randomly 3 weeks in. Someone with his experience at this level should be a huge asset but he wanders round like one of those mercenary farts we made a habit of employing in the Levein and Kelly era.

It's not really even final straw time. There's been 4 or 5 permanent managers in Daka's time here and not a single one has given him a run of more than 3 or 4 games. The last couple of seasons have seen a late 30s striker ran into the ground and playing 90 mins on many occasions rather than giving Patson even a 20 minutes impact. It's not a case of bad luck or bad judgement. None of those managers have rated him after seeing him day in, day out in training or trusted him to start because when he's had his chances in games he's missed sitters and cost us points. After waiting for Vardy to step aside, he's now behind Ayew and probably Carranza. His bank manager may appreciate him but he's wasted some of his best years here.

Let's not persist with this nonsense. He's never done it, never will do it and has spent the last 3 years living off "that night in Moscow" and people insisting "he's got pace". He's off to AFCON again in Jan isn't he? Potentially rules him out of the season til Feb. Leeds will be relegated by then anyway 😁

8/10 Got more over the line than I expected but we're lumped with Daka, Soumare, VK and Faes for at least another 4 months. Got incredible fees for some genuinely average players and haven't paid anything substantial for anyone coming in.
