  1. Corrected it for you 👍
  2. Linda works from home and wears a lanyard. Pretty unbelievable that anyone - let alone a supporter "representative" still peddles this sort of crap.
  3. They're not all getting slapped with a pts deduction from the EFL.....
  4. Yep. Moan and the word "gloryfan" gets used. Or "these new generation fans" that tagged on after 2016. Still. We could literally be in league one and it'll still be " well, we were here before!" Its unreal.
  5. To who? Top won't be there either. The Faceless Eight are stealing a wage so they don't care if no-one shows up.
  6. Incredibly, we're still 12/1 to go down. That's looking worth a tenner right now.
  7. My expectations were low but holy f*** he's terrible. From Vardy to this must be the biggest downgrade since Pearson to Sousa.
  8. This is my biggest problem game after game. The subs never make us better. He's the only manager I can remember who weakens the team with his bench players. We just do the same thing with players that werent good enough to start the game. The left backs are as shit as each other. The midfielders are all equally uncreative. The wingers all do the same thing. The strikers are all shot-shy, passive and incapable of anticipating a cross. I like the manager and the board should get all the anger for the current LCFC shitshow but the fact is 2 or 3 more 'displays' like that and there will be no alternative but to fire him. You cannot go 1 win in 10 in this division. Its a miserable, dead man league. For all the paint-by-numbers pundits bullshi++ing away about the competitive unpredictable Championship it's a doggo league with doggo football.
  9. Focussing on the manager takes the focus off the actual problem - the board and the ownership. They'll just pay him off and replace him with another possession without purpose manager. We'll be 2m quid lighter and no better off whilst the faceless bods in the boardroom get let off again. The Rudkin chants are quieter now than they were after one game. This is like the Martin Allen season. Manager after manager couldn't take away from the fact the club was in need of a major reset at the top.
  10. Celtic confirm O'Neill taking over as interim manager
  11. Easily. Ask Luton, Pompey, Bolton et al how easy it is to drop and carry on dropping. The fish rots from the head and if the top of your club is rotten it spreads rapidly.
  12. 100% Personally I've have been playing Evans, even if it's Ayew in behind him, he's literally the only out & out striker we have at the club and the rate we're going we'll need assets. He needs time and games but knowing this club we'll loan him to Forest Green in January.
  13. No I don't want any of them Devil's advocate though, Ayew can at least hold the ball up to bring other people into play - like with Ramsey's goal the other night. Carranza and Daka have zero uses. They remind me of playing Kevin Tom's Football manager game in the 80s and when your 5* strikers are unavailable you suddenly realise all you have are the two 1* losers you inherited at the start of the game.
  14. Absoultely stoppable on their day. Dave Nugent's just signed a player contract at Anstey Nomads, he'd genuinely have more goal threat than those two
  15. No but there are so many smaller problems, it all merges. TBH "Ok in the championship" should mean a solid, 7/10 defender with occasional assists who occasionally gets scouted by Burnley or Fulham. He's not even close to that level.
  16. McGivern. Jesus, still difficult to believe he was in Walsh's portfolio. Spearing and Platnauer were equally terrible late 80/early 90s. Oh for a Mike Whitlow now. Solid.
  17. Has lived off his cup final performance and one night where he put Salah in his back pocket for 90 mins for 4 years now. Since then he's had two unsuccessful loan spells at mid clubs, been kept out the side by VK (two cheeks of the same arse frankly) and developed a "long" throw. It's clear the only reason he got a new deal was because he's home grown with little or no value and 5/10 LB already here is cheaper than recruiting another replacement who ends up flopping like Kristiansen. The fact we haven't scouted/bought anyone better than this kid in the last 5 years is another black mark for Glover & Co.
  18. Can we start unscrewing the seats that say King Power on them or do we have to wait for administration first?
  19. O'Neil was on Sky on Monday saying the most important thing he looks at when he considers a club is their recruitment policy, as it's key to a manager's success. He's not coming here.
  20. Imagine this season without Fatawu's worldies. We're a couple of wonder goals from being another Luton at this stage.
  21. Potential Chansiri situation. We're already underfunded, we just need an EFL embargo and a wage deferral and we're there.
  22. We were a shambles last season when he was here. Rather than just Vardy, the big factor is that we have no striker. At all.
  23. Lampard and Edwards have both been successful with bang average squads in this league before. RVN and Cooper had better squads and did worse. I don't care what Ruud did abroad, he was pathetic here. Worse than Pleat, Holloway and Taylor. This team has about 3 or 4 players that are better than this level. The rest are Championship standard. And the problem now is expectation, people expecting us to be top 2 because HMS Piss The League ran the show 2 years ago. Again, you're barking up the wrong tree. In aiming your shots at the manager you're letting the two people to blame for this squad off the hook.
  24. Dyche was never coming here, neither was Moyes or anyone else with PL experience. These managers want organisation and stability behind the scenes and the whole football world knows we're a basket case outfit at boardroom level. We're a mid table championship club with a mid table championship manager. Until there are changes at the top, anything at managerial level is just lipstick on a pig.
  25. I'm not going on past records, just what they did in their time here. RVN will go down as the worst manager in our modern history. Cooper ballsed up a decent starting XI by dropping Winks, Ricardo and Abdul and throwing in the likes of Ayew, BDR and Skipp. He's been saddled with a deadwood toxic squad with a couple of loanees and Monga to freshen it up. Do I think he's done well? No. Do I think we need to sack him and start again? Also no.
