  1. I can top that. It's probably the best team we can currently put out
  2. And you want who? Soumare? Skipp?
  3. This could be anything. Genuinely anything. Take away the shack of sit referee and we've still been abysmal. The cards have piled up for lack of discipline all season, the style is....non existent and there's barely a scrap of desire. BUt we'vE sEeN wOrse, wE oWe thEse OwnErS eVeRyThInG....
  4. Horrible Mickey Mouse league with horrible Mickey Mouse refs
  5. I'd rather have the Fatawu that started the season. He's stuggled lately.
  6. Could have done with playing these a month ago. Best we'll get is a draw. The Thomas suspension could mean Ricardo plays two in a week or he puts Okoli there or goes 3 at the back maybe?
  7. JJ MOTM followed by Begovic. 5s and 4s for the rest. Daka's miskicked finish that should have put us 3-1 up cancelled out most of the credit earned for his goal.
  8. Card-happy buffoon. 2 of the 6 were deserved but we spent the game getting kicked in the air and somehow got 5 more cards than them. Mickey Mouse league with Mickey Mouse refs.
  9. Incredible the extremes of this place. Scroll up the page and he's our GOAT RB, he puts a few passes wrong against Stoke and he's finished apparently.
  10. Tbf it was a silly booking kicking the ball away 5 yards away from a card happy ref. We don't help ourselves.
  11. 2 great saves. Experience counts bags in this division.
  12. Not sure the club would have wanted it deciding early, gives Nick and the other lawyers longer to find a new loophole or mitigation and tbh I don't believe the club go out to find a 'poor' manager. He just happens to be as random as every other managerial appointment since Sousa. And 2015/16 was filmed in a warehouse in Arizona. Vardy nailed that volley in one take apparently.
  13. Derby rivalries are important to fans not players, there's so many foreign players in the game these days that it's just another game to them. He's saying well done to another Ghanaian in the country. Other players do it all the time except its not Cov. And even then, it's only a minor but noisy rival not a proper one like Forest. Get over it.
  14. MON edges it for me for his achievements in the PL. Top ten finishes and two trophies on that budget was insane. Lennon and Izzet being the best engineroom behind Keane/Scholes and Petit/Viera. Wins at all the top clubs, except Arsenal. His knowledge was unmatched. And he was the biggest character in the game. Ian Marshall at the Vicente Calderon NFP restored us to those levels, got the fight back in the team after a decade of negligence. The football was great and the club felt professional again. The Second Coming probably saved the Thais from lurching to another lucky dip manager and being the original Chansiri. BUT pre-Great Escape, that Pearson side struggled in the Prem. Lining up against Hull at home with 6 defenders in the starting line up and scraping a 0-0 was a low. I'd welcome either of them back in a heartbeat right now.
  15. People with Stockholm are the last to recognise it, it's okay 😁. Look, in all seriousness it's fine to have different opinions, have different perspectives etc. I get all of that. But they don't just roll dice. Since Vichai's death it's been a string of bad decisions. Lessons they promised would be learnt after the first relegation (the last time Top made a statement, bleating about getting abuse from fans) were made again and worse last season. The general stagnation of the club, fans drifting away in numbers, matchdays that are just repetitive paint-by-numbers affairs that stink of a club in decline with zero ideas. Terrible signing after terrible signing thats not been corrected by selling them and in some cases have even been rewarded for failure with new contracts. If there was a roll of the dice, the fatal roll was in 2021. They gambled not selling Tielemans or anyone else, failed to get Europe and financially crippled themselves trying to make up for it. Would you genuinely have rather had that decline than 5 years of stability? Genuinely have been splashing round to keep our heads above water than kept the model that Brighton, Palace, Brentford and Bournemouth have adopted and had moderate success, some big wins, half decent players and the occasional sniff of Europe? Because THAT is crazy. Risking the foundations Vichai built, to roll the dice for a bit of extra fun. People say "oh well fans would have gone mad, selling players and not renewing Vardy, not chasing Europe" NO! That's where you communicate! Right there. You tell us there's limits, you give us an idea of the plans going forward. Not 5 years later, calling for unity after your disinterest, poor business acumen and inaction created it. We accepted the sell one, buy three more to build the team model. Kante, Mahrez, Drinky, Maguire etc were all sold and we brought in Tielemans, Maddison, Soyuncu, Fofana etc. It was accepted because it worked. What we don't accept is what's happened since. What's been allowed to happen. 10 years going forward. 5 years going backwards. And we haven't even had the pts deduction or lost the parachute payments yet.
  16. This sort of thing is what I see all over Facebook. "I've been there through the tough times" "I'll support them whatever league they're in" "remember Levein, that was worse than this" "be careful what you wish for, it's not exactly Martin George". Comparing this club to what we were in the 80s or 90s is insanity. It's barely even the same sport these days, the money involved, the marketing, the exposure around the world. We could be bottom of this league below Sheff Wed and some of these mentally ill psychopaths would still insist on Top staying and be careful the next guy could be worse. It's Stockholm Syndrome. King Power have taken their brains hostage and the zombies are blaming their brains for being in the wrong place. Our fanbase is utterly lost.
  17. This will end up very much along the lines of when Top put out that statement a couple of seasons back about being the subject of abuse after all him and his family have put in to the club. It will be used to generate some sympathy and the toxicity will continue as anyone wanting KP out is met by stick from KPFC footsoldiers. Rather than just engaging with fans and giving people an indication about the direction of the club, it ends up making the situation worse.
  18. No side should ever be one win in 11 in this shockingly bad league.
  19. Despite anything else I've said, he's had a shitty hand at times. Ramsey, one of our few threats gets a stupid red, scores 2 in 3 then gets injured til possibly Christmas. Page is now away with England, our general recruitment was garbage aside from the two loanees. You also can't legislate for Mavididi's shit finishing which has cost us 3 goals so far. But you can't get away from the fact that this isn't the Prem. Sides far worse than us create more, score more and play better. Virtually every substitution weakens us and we do have kids to blood or recall from loan who are better than the SAS in midfield. If he doesn't sort out those issues, starting at Norwich, he's finished here.
  20. Imagine being a genuine threat full stop.
  21. Hate this attitude with a passion. The reason why big clubs are big clubs is because they built on their success. They used one trophy or title as a foundation and continued to develop. We had started to do that. Top half finishes, squad being made stronger by selling one big name and buying 3 ambitious ones, not looking behind us or settling for 40 points. For the best part of a decade until this current disinterested, weak owner made poor business decisions backed by his inexperienced yes man DOF, we were establishing our brand and our club as a top flight fixture. The thought that we've always been a small club is - frankly - bullshit. Forest Green, Bromsgrove, Northampton, etc etc are small clubs. We're a single city club, the tenth largest city with a larger population than most of our rivals. Aside from the late 80s and a yoyo patch in 70s we've had long spells in the top division. This is not our level. Nor should we settle for it because we've been here before. Half that current Premier League - Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford, Wolves, even our mates up the A46 have had long spells in the Championship and lower. Do you think they'll settle for this downward spiral? Or accept their level isnt what theyve built now? Absolute loser mentality that will help keep us here and not demand our management do better.
  22. Top rated Nelson, lowest rated Skipp No idea why we bother with subs, they just weaken the side. What the hell has happened to Fatawu? Started the season looking sharp, now playing like Momo Sylla.
  23. He's nothing like him. Cannon could finish, had a bit of anticipation and hung on the shoulder of the CB a lot. This guy is second to everything and has barely had a shot in 3 games. And yet is somehow still better than Patson.
  24. Yes but no. Don't want the memories ruined by a bad spell. We're not in that era anymore and it needs a clearout at the top. Any manager until then is a puppet.
  25. If that's our level its time to give up on the ST and find a new Saturday obsession.
