  1. And this is what I mean when I say the Trust is completely ineffective. The Trust, UFS and all the other groups like it should be able to openly question the club about their decisions and - barring legal exemptions - report the answers openly. If information is redacted you may as well just be extra board members discussing it amongst yourselves. If anything it just adds to the frustration over a lack of transparency.
  2. Can't agree with that. 2 or 3 games recently he's been the only one tracking back and he knits things together better than Winks right now. I can't even believe I'm writing that, given where we were a year ago.
  3. It's abysmal. Absolutely shocking behaviour. If it didn't involve someone else's illness I'd have already sent it to the usual posse of City-related journos. It's not the club I grew up supporting and it stems from weak leadership at every level.
  4. Absolute definition of a confidence player. The season has absolutely pummelled him, in and out the side, couple of missed chances and now Ayew and BDR are ahead of him. I'd probably still start him over Ayew but he desperately needs a performance (and to get those shorts adjusted).
  5. Haaland would be ineffective in this side, just about any striker would be.
  6. Apart from shooting his mouth off with Bournemouth his promotion record's pretty decent. Would love to have a defence as organised as the Burnley one right now.
  7. There's no unless about it. We're getting one and probably an embargo if our accounts continue to be as bad as the last 3 years have been. It was going to happen even before we embarrassed them with our lawyers finding loopholes.
  8. Mostly 6s, 1 or 2 5s, kept our shape well didn't allow many chances til the first goal. Thought Coulibaly had a great game, didn't give Sterling or Trossard an inch.
  9. My cause? Just re-advertising the cause. Pull your bobble hat over your ears a bit more and block out the nasty words from the nasty men.
  10. Part of the issue is that there's uncertainty who to point the finger at - which is the clubs fault because no-one communicates anything or takes responsibility for decisions at any level. Another part is that there's so many aspects of the club to be unhappy with right now that there are different messages and each of us sees this protest as a bit of a lightning rod for that. Some have been banned, some priced out, some have issues with the players, for many it's simply Rudkin and our direction as a club. And let's not be under the illusion we're at the level of "good" right now. Good is where we're trying to get back to, the minimum we should really expect.
  11. It was a fair coverage of it tbh. Even Deeney was saying there was justification because of the financial situation and players not being replaced, which was a U-turn from a guy parroting the "entitled " line a couple of weeks back.
  12. I mean Top is rarely there anyway. He's been at more aways than homes this season. If Rudkin didn't show that would just sum him up as a DOF.
  13. ChatGPT does programme notes as well now?
  14. No, we're not. They're not selling us a product, or providing a service. They are running a club and providing entertainment through the players on the pitch. We're stakeholders in that club through our season tickets and memberships. We've been supporters/stakeholders for decades longer than the faceless suits running it. The club belongs to all of us through that, we're far more than customers.
  15. Most of them won't sprint across the pitch to make a challenge let alone to get involved in a brawl. TBH Merseyside Derby aside, it rarely happens in any game now. The challenges are tame, anything even remotely late or following through is a yellow. Refs just don't allow it to boil over like that.
  16. Can you name me one single tangible change that has come about through these "established supporters groups" raising concerns? Maybe you mean the way that the £25 loyalty tax was overturned? Or perhaps how digital ticketing was rejected after hundreds of people experienced issues? Have the prices at the kiosks got cheaper? Has the communication improved? Or has everything got progressively worse despite a swelling in numbers of the aforementioned groups? And that the only conclusion you can draw from that is that fans have been ignored, fobbed off and laughed at for years precisely because WE NEVER BOTHER TO PROTEST PROPERLY. The only one yorping is you my friend.
  17. Ten years ago we brought in Robert Huth. This time we're stuck with Lurch and the Belgian Bombscare. Change the backline, learn to defend and play the creative players from the start and if Wolves have a nightmare we can finish 17th.
  18. 17 clearances 👏
  19. And that's why you have VAR Ah well
  20. It's not so much the player himself just where he plays. Wilf and Soumare were barely 5 yards apart, Winks is coming deeper for the ball and Soumare is twenty yards away
  21. Everything coming down our right side again. It's like they sat and watched videos of every goal we've conceded this season at HT.
  22. The guy claps when the plane lands
