Basically. He does okay going forward supporting the wide player. But he wouldn't get in any other side in this league because he has no defensive brain whatsoever. Doesn't sense danger, doesn't know whether the player he's up against is left or right footed, doesn't look what's around him and doesn't know where he's supposed to be in defensive situations.

All that said, no idea who comes in for 14 games and does better against the next 6 or 7 teams. They're still working with gutless, delusional workshy importers.

He'd be far better as a wing back, going forward he's fine but his defending is shocking. He's never within 5 yards of the wide man,doesn't anticipate the cut inside and positionally he's all over the place. So many balls just float over him to the winger. Wasn't good enough 2 seasons ago, hasn't got any better, gash for Denmark too.

He's genuinely poor. Offers nothing, makes errors and keeps his place. Buonanotte wears the wrong boots and gets benched for 2 months. But that said cheering him leaving the pitch is cruel. He doesn't pick himself to play. People were standing and cheering him coming off but staying silent when the Rudkin chants were going off.

And all of them needed firing. Having players that give a shit enough to call out crap managers is fine. Rather those sort of players than the couldn't care less wastrels we have wandering around the training pitch right now.

It says absolutely everything about the club right now that the first thing I thought was "deflection". With that and the charity days I just can't trust a single thing that happens in the place right now. It's all being run by shady b@stards.

And this is what I mean when I say the Trust is completely ineffective. The Trust, UFS and all the other groups like it should be able to openly question the club about their decisions and - barring legal exemptions - report the answers openly. If information is redacted you may as well just be extra board members discussing it amongst yourselves. If anything it just adds to the frustration over a lack of transparency.

Haaland would be ineffective in this side, just about any striker would be.
