  1. No, we're not. They're not selling us a product, or providing a service. They are running a club and providing entertainment through the players on the pitch. We're stakeholders in that club through our season tickets and memberships. We've been supporters/stakeholders for decades longer than the faceless suits running it. The club belongs to all of us through that, we're far more than customers.
  2. Most of them won't sprint across the pitch to make a challenge let alone to get involved in a brawl. TBH Merseyside Derby aside, it rarely happens in any game now. The challenges are tame, anything even remotely late or following through is a yellow. Refs just don't allow it to boil over like that.
  3. Can you name me one single tangible change that has come about through these "established supporters groups" raising concerns? Maybe you mean the way that the £25 loyalty tax was overturned? Or perhaps how digital ticketing was rejected after hundreds of people experienced issues? Have the prices at the kiosks got cheaper? Has the communication improved? Or has everything got progressively worse despite a swelling in numbers of the aforementioned groups? And that the only conclusion you can draw from that is that fans have been ignored, fobbed off and laughed at for years precisely because WE NEVER BOTHER TO PROTEST PROPERLY. The only one yorping is you my friend.
  4. Ten years ago we brought in Robert Huth. This time we're stuck with Lurch and the Belgian Bombscare. Change the backline, learn to defend and play the creative players from the start and if Wolves have a nightmare we can finish 17th.
  5. 17 clearances 👏
  6. And that's why you have VAR Ah well
  7. It's not so much the player himself just where he plays. Wilf and Soumare were barely 5 yards apart, Winks is coming deeper for the ball and Soumare is twenty yards away
  8. Everything coming down our right side again. It's like they sat and watched videos of every goal we've conceded this season at HT.
  9. The guy claps when the plane lands
  10. The amount of tourists in this crowd, so many phones in the air it's like a Taylor Swift gig
  11. TBF to Soumare he's been tracking back all night covering runners, he can't be everywhere.
  12. Okoli should never have been dropped. Ndidi and Soumare in the middle just works better than Winks & Soumare. Get 2 more goals then bring on Monga to properly take the pi$$
  13. No. As I've said elsewhere and that Jake fella from the podcast was saying similar on Talksport last night, Forest bought 40 players, took the risk of a deduction and stayed up. They established a foothold again and built on it. If they now get European cash and also expand the City Ground they'll never have to worry about deductions again. If we've truly decided to avoid PSR by accepting relegation as a better bet then it's another shocking decision from the people at the top. The Prem is where the money is, there are no profitable EFL clubs, just the opposite, and I can't imagine anyone at King Power wants association with a lower league team.
  14. Ashworth is out of work but you've got to go look for upcoming candidates too. The next Paul Barber or Jason Wilcox because we aren't getting the current ones.
  15. He's been referred to as a leader for 2 years yet barely been played. Like most bench players he probably just wants to go somewhere he's played regularly. If I'd been dropped for Wout Faes I'd have walked to a new club. Didn't do too much wrong in that last spell he played and at least he doesn't just wander off up the pitch like the Belgian Bombscare.
  16. There were bizarre ideas about spinning the pitch 90 degrees but that's what I mean about buying up the houses and just giving it a bigger footprint. It just needed backing, no-one can look at Burnmoor & Filbert Street now and think THAT looks better than a football ground. It may have been past it's sell by date but thats why you develop the stamds. Everton will find with BMD just like we did with Filbo, West Ham did with Upton Park and so many others did with their grounds, you never get the character and the soul back. It's why Liverpool developed Anfield and why so many don't want United to leave OT.
  17. No it would have been boxier stands closer to the pitch with a better old school atmosphere. It'd not so much the character as the general set up.
  18. I can only think the 300m losses so far are going to be backed up by another year seriously in the red. The plan is accept relegation is coming but try to make the losses seem more.......acceptable? Nothing else makes sense.
  19. Yeah but mid PL isn't where we're headed. They'll be looking at stocking us up for Mid EFL.
  20. Our "not got" list would be massive.
  21. The names we used to sign and get linked with and now we're down to Craig Dawson (rumours) The next 4 months are going to be like having a root canal done.
  22. It was the last time I defended him for anything. He was on holiday in Spain and we announced Iborra two days later. Takes his holidays at Selhurst Park these days.
  23. Pretty sure there's a few on here that spent 2 years demanding we get him in that are now not so happy to be reminded of it. Big names rarely make good managers and he's just the latest one that maybe needs a couple of years at a lower level making correct decisions and working his way up the ladder. He could end up being the latest guy who can coach but doesn't suit the hot seat.
  24. That's a simplistic view that ignores the poor decisions that took us from challenging the top 6 to never being out of the bottom 6. We're fighting that gap through piss-poor financial management, shocking - utterly shocking - recruitment and contract policy and consistently inconsistent choice of managers. We used to laugh at clubs who were run this way.
  25. Filbert Street every time. Should have been redeveloped stand by stand. Could have built flats on the KP land and moved the residents from Filbo and Burnmoor down there. Tragic looking at the site now. I've spent more years at King Power but it will never feel like a proper home.
