  1. It's not the worst call but I'm not sure even gravel throat could cut out Faes mistakes or give Justin or Kristiansen some positional awareness.
  2. Not very just rose tinted specs thinking we were perfect with Schmeichel here. We had some collapses with him here too and however good his shot stopping was he wasn't a talisman keeping us up. The rot syarted earlier amd the bigger losses were the likes of Huth, Fuchs, Drinkwater and Morgan who were all winners with winning mentalities who were replaced with vastly inferior players coming from teams with no record of success.
  3. Daka had a run last season. Remember Plymouth away? Leeds away? Even Liverpool this season he shanked his one chance. Every time he gets in the side he just runs a lot.
  4. It's incomparable with Kramaric, he was never going to get in the side past Vardy and when he had chances he didn't take them. Cannon had chances scored some goals and would be a great fit at the level we're plummeting to, just bizarre that any manager could put a misfit like Daka ahead of that sort of potential. Good luck to the lad. Let's hope we don't regret it next season.
  5. Still looking for 2 spares, 1 will do if not, I'll sacrifice my mate
  6. The guys had ten games. Yes made some poor calls including yesterday but who is left to get better results at this stage if the season? The club needs quality bringing in. Losing Fatawu and then Hermansen has been a blow. Do we really have spare cash to be paying off another manager? The focus needs to be the board. Back the manager and the players and get rid of the people that traded financial security for gambles and poor recruitment.
  7. Two spares would be great if anyone can't go
  8. Gutted I missed this just come back through Harborough. If anyone else has two spare DM please
  9. It'd need the section to do a mass walk out on 70 mins to get noticed. Any later and it'll just blend in with the rest of the ground Difficult to organise in any other areas. I think today was a turning point though. Just a shame that apparent MOTD and Sky didn't show it in their coverage.
  10. Mohan Carey Willis Coatsworth Never forget.
  11. Amazed that people still watch this garbage. Lineker's final show can't come soon enough. Which rent-a-pundits were on tonight? Murphy and Keown? Or a special helping of Deeney and Ashley Williams? It's a shadow of a once-great programme.
  12. It would be a huge loss of face for him to sell up. No-one knows the figures and exposure KP gets from having this club in the Prem and for him to break ties with that after hundreds of millions spent would be incredibly embarrassing. The links to his Dad's death must also be a huge emotional pull. So replacing the DoF and a few accountable directors to get this club - root and branch - back into the black and doing clever transfer and contract deals again must surely be easier than cutting ties and selling up?
  13. Classic case of someone's value going up in their absence. Lot of people forget he wasn't in the greaest form this season and the balance in the midfield was no better with him in there. Don't think he's ever played a full season for us either, there's always a strain or a tear mid-season. The big problem is we never found a replacement, another failure from the recruitment team.
  14. It has been for the last few games.
  15. Is it you that just called Talksport with this? "Jakey?" Dyche is short-termism. This club needs rebuilding, Dyche isn't that guy.
  16. Pointless discussion. Not something we'd ever know.
  17. I genuinely believe they'd be happy after ten years with the dead men still paying a tenner for a pint in the "fanzone". If a £25 ST tax, financial mismanagement, relegation and what borders on complete disinterest from the ownership hasn't convinced them, nothing will.
  18. Already gets sung
  19. Top has very little football knowledge, has very few personal contacts in the industry that's why Rudkin runs the football side, runs the stables and a few other bits too. He won't move him to one side because he has no idea who to replace him with, he trusts him completely. I'd be amazed if he's even considered the idea. It's a Mr Burns and Smithers relationship.
  20. Maybe watch the game from there too to enhance the experience?
  21. It won't come to anything. He won't sack the guy who runs his life for him and similarly who's going to come in - with top level football experience and run things for him? The last time I joined in with a sack the board chant a lovely guy with badges all over his hat asked me who would run the club with no board Stockholm Syndrome.
  22. And there's plenty on socials who say he's the best they've had since their relegation. I don't see the sense in binning off a player of his age when we're almost certainly heading for the Championship and more than likely losing Vardy. He's clearly capable of bagging a few and his value can only increase. Hard to see us replacing that pocket money signings.
  23. The extension is a different matter, it automatically attracts ST sales and new business but they can't avoid the gaps round the ground now. Top corner of the family club was empty and big chunks of seats now in the main stand. Maybe it's the results on the pitch, the prices or general apathy. But the silence after their first goal was about 20k people expression resignation at the situation.
  24. See them all in the "FANZONE" with the £8 pints and clapping along to the entertainment and you realise how conditioned so many of them are....we may need a double relegation to start cleansing the wound. What I would say as well is that there's no real point chanting against Rudkin when Top is 5000 miles away.
