You know those clubs you look at and thing "**** me that's a scummy club from top to bottom"? Yeah. That's us now.

Colour me shocked. So much for not chucking a load of money at it. I'm in for the ride.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Bryn replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I understand the sentiment but we’re going into the season with no manager, likely having to sell players and with probably a 9 point deduction. Not to mention the general black cloud hanging over the club. You have to play the hand you’re dealt. -

I’m sorry to sound defeatist but I think it’s pointless spending big money to try and stay up this season. I think we need to focus on careful recruitment of players with the mental strength and character to withstand a difficult season, make progress despite it and stick around to kick on next season which will almost certainly be in the Championship. There’s absolutely no logic in taking on more financial risk chasing survival, we need to use the PL money to clear the decks and go into next season with no risk of further financial jeopardy. -
I'm an enormous fan. We are really very lucky to have him, I don't know if we fully appreciate just how lucky.

Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland

****ing love this Fullkrug, massively gives Steve Howard vibes. -
And there were times Vardy was out of form and/or fitness.

I don’t rate Iheanacho, but there is a reality that at times he was our best striker and I don’t think he ever quite got the respect he deserved for that.
-
I think this is good for us to be honest. I cannot see him ending the season as Leicester manager even if he were to start as such. Better to lose him and take the £10m and find a pragmatic manager who might keep us up.

Why are you talking about McKenna like he’s a serious prospect?

You really chucking this out there on a Leicester City forum?

Think we have one of the more interesting badges out there. I’m not totally averse to a new one but I don’t want one of these modern minimalist sans serif shite badges.

I would appeal this. There ought to be some allowance for finding a space and getting to the machine. I’ve parked in all manner of paid car parks, in all pay and displays I’ve ever used it’s been from when I’ve bought the ticket and the signage often says you’ve got up to 10 minutes to decide whether you wish to accept the parking T&Cs or not. What did it say on the ticket?

I mean it’s both isn’t it. All populations have varying degrees of education and awareness of such issues. That’s why we have representative democracy instead of direct democracy. The social contract is that our representatives should provide honest information to the electorate to allow for informed consent. Now I appreciate it’s naive to expect the government to be 100% transparent on every issue with every person in society for all sorts of reasons, but in a binary plebiscite we should be entitled to crystal clear and accurate information and evidence-based opinion (and the difference between fact and opinion should be clear). The Leave campaign patently lied and deceived.

There’ll be promotion wage rises on the new signings for sure. Probably 10-15%. -
There’s a good mod similar to the Skyrim mod that lets you adjust your starting location, and thereby bypass the intro. The intro is generally what stops me replaying the game, the time it takes from character creation to getting past the first meeting with the Minutemen is just way too long.

By a narrow margin of people who voted in a vote in which the Leave camp were allowed to lie freely. I should probably acknowledge that for my desire to work as I would want voter turnout would need to be much higher.
-
I think the Tory vote is going to collapse whatever happens. I really hope this election is characterised by people actually looking at the policies and voting for who they actually want.

Is the status quo?

Let me guess. Vaccines bad. That Natalie Elphicke is a disgrace. The House of Commons is a cesspit, we desperately need electoral reform.

Nah. They rejected him. Leicester is his club now, I doubt he has a huge draw to Wednesday.

I don't think Wrexham is totally out of the question, it might actually be his best move to raise his profile AND achieve things on the pitch. Not actually sure what his post-playing career plans are, I can't see him coaching. As far as I can tell, Vardy likes good vibes more than anything. Could see him having a great time at Wrexham. You'd imagine if he went there Disney pays his salary, or at least a fair whack of it. It wouldn't all be coming out of Wrexham's wage budget. Contrast that to somewhere like Saudi where he'd be on a fortune but you just can't see it being his cup of tea. I think I make him signing on for one more year with us the most likely outcome, followed by going to the US. But I wouldn't rule Wrexham out.

Sounds worse when you hear him say it. Although, I do wonder if you can interpret it as supportive of Rudkin?
