Our coverage is absolutely fine. I wasn't watching Chris Wood celebrate on Friday bemoaning the lack of shallow depth of field.

My god Dwight Gayle is bad

Keep an eye out for Bursik in goal for Hibs today, makes Danny Ward look like Dino Zoff

I don't actually think he's particularly great in possession either tbh. He's fine with the ball, competent, but nothing above or beyond what I'd expect from a £15m+ centre half in 2024. If the best people can say about a defender is "he'd look good in a side where he doesn't have to defend" it's probably flagging up that he's a bit shit.

Their line up last night cost roughly £12 million more than ours. -
Realistic managerial replacements?
Miquel The Work Geordie replied to Happy Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not based on anything other than vibes and they're both objectively better managers than Cooper but I think Niko Kovac and/or Rudi Garcia would be disasters with us. Don't know why. -
No, I think Leicester fans want Leicester to win brother
-
"Haha yay we lost again! This will really wind up fans of the club I support" What a bizarre stance to take for a Leicester fan
-
Been tidy for us overall and seems like a genuinely good bloke, but it's really hard to watch him now. Pace completely vanished and he's developed that same petrified look Luke Thomas perfected when being tasked with defending.

For me, without the points deduction success isn't 17th. And success certainly isn't playing this unsustainable brand of tepid football. Having the freak occurrence of 4 teams failing to win giving us daylight doesn't mean we're surpassing our own expectations. Not for me anyway. This squad is better than looking half functional for 30 mins a match.

Yeah there'll be loads of exciting / good managers who'd jump at the chance to get a gig with us. However I don't trust our board to go after them like Villa did Emery. Might as well tell the graphic designers to start putting together a Gareth Southgate social post right now

Our fan base is a lot of things but I don't think they deserve talking down like this tbh. Maresca lost (/drew) the odd game here and there throughout the season and was still very well backed. Form towards the end of the season though was borderline inexcusable given the squad we had, however you want to carve it up, and people were understandably frustrated as we floundered. If Cooper had just won 7 games and we'd lost last night I think people would get over it relatively quickly, despite the opposition. Let's not be daft. The issue is, he hasn't just won 7 in a row. So it's not really an argument you can go in and make?

It's the latter

"Well you got what you wanted...and we were still shit!" As if it's justification for keeping a manager is genuinely melting my brain
-
None of them were dangerous? First half alone Wilf cleared a header off the line, from the resulting passage of players Hermansen had to make a smart save. Solanke fluffed an open header from 5 yards out. Second half we gave the bloke time to brew up and light a fag, luckily he belted it straight at Hermansen. These are off the top of my head but let's not make out Spurs shouldn't have won that match comfortably

Do some people actually believe a professional football manager who's repeatedly demonstrated how stubborn he is put that line up out last night to "appease the fans"? Not having that one bit.

Fair play to Adidas for managing to make a Boca shirt of any persuasion look a bit...crap? -
Potter can piss off n all for me. Cockteased us too many times thinking he'd get a better gig. Unrelated but I loathe the mindset we aren't attractive enough a job to go out and get someone exciting. Unfortunately our board will look straight at Potter or Southgate once they sack this moron.

Just the "modern day version of we won possession" aint it !!!!!!! -
Yes he is, because he's muck.

I've genuinely seen nothing post 2022 World Cup to suggest this man can be a success at this level and carve out a long term career at it. Too inconsistent — awful aerially, almost as bad on the deck, too rash, too mentally fragile.
-
Then why were you disagreeing with someone saying he wasn't good enough for the premier league? Lol
