This is class, you've basically said "he should have stayed and proven himself with us" and "instead now he's rumoured to take over at Man City" in the same breath

He's still too good for League One. As romantic as Wednesday would be, I just can't see it happening. -

Man City have been the worst dressed of the big clubs for ****ing ages -
People are chatting about a very recent former manager taking over at a hugely successful club – there is no football on at the moment and seemingly nothing happening with us. It's a big sports headline that's being discussed, it's hardly obsessive.

I can do sub 20 mate but those numbers you're on are absurd aha. Not been out for just a 5K for ages mind, maybe I'll give it a crack and see what she's saying -
Allegedly (third party engineered bollocks to get a contract imo); but even if that were true, they didn't follow through with their interest, did they? The clubs going for Monga will. It isn't comparable and this isn't the gotcha you think it is.

He's still very, very young. He doesn't need to be playing 46 games a season yet. We have not shown him that there are any tangible benefits to staying here. Scattergun managerial selections, a club on a downward trajectory, minutes blocked in favour of Mavididi who last had a good game in 2023. If I was him I'd jump at the chance to get world class coaching at (for arguments sake) Arsenal.

Your old boss is of course Minty off EastEnders -
Overrated in what sense? Because he isn't changing games at a club in the bin at the age of 16, getting piecemeal minutes here and there? With Luke Thomas behind him? He seemingly has the biggest clubs in Europe chasing him, are they all wrong? His potential is clearly huge - only our fans could see massive clubs circling round an academy prospect and not be bothered at the thought of them going or think it's a loss.

Hopefully not the same source as last year brother

He quite clearly wouldn't be moving to Arsenal on the promise of immediate first team opportunities; but if they have even the most basic of roadmaps for his future they're one up on us. They're a really, really well run club.
