  1. Can't believe some of the fees for average output players this summer. And why can't they buy some of our unwanted shite?! Though saying that Everton are in for our 4th choice keeper at the minute - Tom King. He's crap. Not Danny Ward crap, but still crap.
  2. Well she's used to massive pricks so they'll get on like a house on fire.
  3. I did this last night. It usually restarts as part of the update process but then when it's finished it shuts down. Always been that way for me.
  4. Since joining up with a bunch of guys in my society we play most weeks now. In fact I played 3 times in the last 7 days. 2 of which I shot 83 and 90. Which is the best I've played in a long time. I went to Stonebridge in the week (near Birmingham just past The Belfry) and it's a lovely place and really well kept with very nice greens. Only £33 for 18 holes too. They have 3 different 9 hole courses which can all connect to each other. So you have 3 different variations to choose from for playing 18 holes on any given day.
  5. I've thought about doing exactly the same recently. I've just never "got it" and it doesn't seem to appeal to me even though it should. How are you finding it?
  6. I'd imagine insurance companies are more willing to write off a car nowadays too, given the struggle for parts in repairs, and the huge rental car bill that entails because of it.
  7. We definitely need to get rid of betting company sponsors in this country. We've had one on our kit for years now and they're all dodgy as hell businesses that operate from abroad.
  8. Does she putt from the rough?
  9. My mate says what's her name...?
  10. Brady is a weirdo. He was the same in the NFL too whenever I saw him speak at any length. Has this weird intense attitude and zero sense of humour. Deffo one of the lizard people.
  11. I really liked Parasite but hated Get Out. Pretentious drivel, and I'm not much of a horror fan any more either.
  12. Yet personally I've never had a single issue with Evri. Always been on time and knocked rather than just dumping it outside the door.
  13. It'll likely be the BIOS on the motherboard which is incompatible. It needs to have need TMP 2.0 Secure Boot enabled to be able to install Win 11. You could Google your BIOS version to see if there's a recent update which will support it, or there are ways around it if you know what you're doing. Again, Google is your friend.
  14. I thought Fantastic Four was quite bland tbh. Very little actual peril even given the antagonist (who they about did as much as they can do with him). The film was fine, but didn't have much in the way of excitement or good action scenes.
  15. I think people generally talked to each other....
  16. Either way you'd be flat on your back and fvcked within 30s!
  17. It has some good laughs in it, but it's obviously too daft like most Sandler comedies. It does a very good job of being a sequel to the first film though. Fans of the first will love it. I thought Will Zalatoris did a great job of playing an old character. Scottie was alright, but Bryson and Rory are terrible actors
  18. We signed Diogo Jota on loan in the Championship in 2017, and triggered his permanent deal that January for around €14m. Though technically it wasn't paid until the summer, after we'd been promoted.
  19. I really wish I'd used the words "as much" instead of "enough", just so I could avoid this pointless debate.
  20. I said statistically, which I meant in comparison to the men's game. And like you said {and I did tbf) it is on the increase. Particularly in the last few years.
  21. Yeah but it was purely down to the early weather and then the tyre management strategy once everyone switched to dry tyres. A safety car afterwards would have made things more interesting.
  22. Statistically there's just not enough interest in the women's game. I know plenty of blokes in the pub who haven't watched a single game this summer or state they have no interest (followed by the usual sexist comments). That's changing, but it'll take time. At least another generation IMO before all the male gammons are irrelevant and the kids who've grown up with it as an emerging socially acceptable thing have kids/grandkids of their own.
  23. Possibly. As Murray Walker used to say, catching is one thing.....
