  1. I can see them moving it to Sunday evening tbh. With so many teams in Europe this season there won't be many Saturday games.
  2. That joke makes zero sense
  3. With so many other users on the road luck will always play a part. As Parafox is saying though, you try and mitigate that as much as possible by being aware of as as many things as you can.
  4. Agreed. I'm one of those people if I see young kids walking or messing about near the kerb I always slow down and keep my eye on them. Only takes one silly moment for one of them to jump out in front of you.
  5. Yeah it's an issue. My surgery has an online booking system but it's usually at least 7-14 days wait. You just have to brave the phone system and insist you get seen asap.
  6. A month of that without getting better is a sign that you need to go speak your GP who can check you over, talk through your symptoms, and get a blood test. Excessive fatigue could be something as simple as iron levels, as uncommon as a sleep disorder, or as serious as heart disease or worse. Don't mess about with your health, or shrug it off as so many men do, go and get yourself checked out asap.
  7. There is no angle, they're just morons who think they know better than actual scientists.
  8. I'm just in the garage having my MOT done right now, so I thought I'd ask this for you. He said it would very likely fail the emissions test. The silencer material in them also filters some of the emissions out so would likely fail on that according to him. There's no noise regulation so to speak but they can fail at their discretion if it's excessively noisy. He said you can obviously take it off and put it back on for MOT as some people do with CATs. But that's the only option.
  9. Very Del Boy.
  10. Women's tennis is still quite weird, even in the later stages of tournaments. The amount of 6-0 and 6-1 sets even between the best players is strange how often they happen.
  11. I wasn't saying that it wasn't good for the fans to win a trophy of any sort, but saying they had a better season than Arsenal is clearly nonsense. If they'd won the Champions League or the FA Cup (Carabao is tinpot too) then I'd be saying differently.
  12. Yes. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it but it was hardly European success. Anything outside the proper Champions League is tinpot tbh.
  13. If Spurs had a better season than Arsenal then they wouldn't have sacked their manager! Spurs have been proper dog muck all season, finished bottom of the league without the relegated sides, and only just scraped past just as bad a side to win a tinpot European trophy. Semi-final of the Champions League + 2nd > Europa League winners + 17th Postecoglu deserved to be sacked. He was a ****ing awful one dimensional manager. Same as Amorim, who also deserves to be sacked.
  14. The winter evenings must've just flown by..... 😀 Thank god for Championship Manager in my youth.
  15. He's generally decent in one v one situations. For instance he's man marked Salah out of games more than once. In fact he had the most ball recoveries of any defender in the league last season (or so I read). He does occasionally mess about with the ball in his own half and gives it away in bad areas. However he'll have less to do defensively at Man City and will be receiving the ball higher up the pitch other than the occasional playing out from the back, which he's generally pretty good at with his quick feet and one-twos up the line.
  16. Literally the opposite. Both of those are proven PL players now and they've had to pay through the nose for them.
  17. I'd imagine it will align with the PSR deadline for last season, which is the 30th June. So 1st July basically.
  18. https://www.elcabildo.org/en/solar-panels-between-the-rails-the-worlds-first-movable-solar-rail-system-goes-live-49068/ Such an obvious idea, and would be a huge deal. Especially since we're a small country size wise. Train companies won't want to spend the money though unless they're forced to by government policy.
  19. Agreed. I watched it a few years ago and it's really dull, especially the beginning as you mentioned. I didn't like the Adrian romance either. Seemed like she really wasn't interested and was forced to change and put up with it because of fear she wouldn't get another man.
  20. Why are people surprised at Man Utd still being a big pull for players? They're one of the biggest clubs in the world and can still offer stupid wages to players. Even without Europe they're still a huge draw.
  21. Obviously losing your top scorer and top assister the same summer isn't ideal. £50m is apparently the fee for RAN. We have a huge rebuild on our hands as Nelson Semedo is leaving too as he's out of contract. We probably need 6-7 players, and Jose Sa almost left last summer too and might have interest in him again. We do have over £100m to rebuild the squad but most Wolves fans have huge doubts that the current recruitment team can bring in that many players who are all successes in one window. We'll likely be dipping into the South American market again. Apparently Dortmund are interested in Fabio Silva for €18m too. I'd snap their hands off at that. Just a season ago nobody was interested in him but a half-decent season at Las Palmas seemingly has clubs interested again.
  22. At this point I think a fusion reactor that can power homes is finally possible within the next 10 years.
  23. I remember Vettel only getting a 10s stop/go penalty for braking into Hamilton behind the safety car in Baku.
  24. Max in being a dangerous ***** shocker. He's been allowed to get away with it for years, but this was as blatant as it gets.
