It has some good laughs in it, but it's obviously too daft like most Sandler comedies. It does a very good job of being a sequel to the first film though. Fans of the first will love it. I thought Will Zalatoris did a great job of playing an old character. Scottie was alright, but Bryson and Rory are terrible actors

We signed Diogo Jota on loan in the Championship in 2017, and triggered his permanent deal that January for around €14m. Though technically it wasn't paid until the summer, after we'd been promoted.

I really wish I'd used the words "as much" instead of "enough", just so I could avoid this pointless debate.

I said statistically, which I meant in comparison to the men's game. And like you said {and I did tbf) it is on the increase. Particularly in the last few years.

Yeah but it was purely down to the early weather and then the tyre management strategy once everyone switched to dry tyres. A safety car afterwards would have made things more interesting.

Statistically there's just not enough interest in the women's game. I know plenty of blokes in the pub who haven't watched a single game this summer or state they have no interest (followed by the usual sexist comments). That's changing, but it'll take time. At least another generation IMO before all the male gammons are irrelevant and the kids who've grown up with it as an emerging socially acceptable thing have kids/grandkids of their own.

Possibly. As Murray Walker used to say, catching is one thing.....

Oscar is gonna win any way. Mediums have held out.
-
30 laps left when they changed tyres. Lando came out around 5s behind Oscar. They had no idea basically. Limited Friday running in warm dry weather, compared to a much colder track temperature due to a wet race, meaning the tyre warm-up could be a real struggle. The hard could easily have been nowhere and he dropped back into Leclerc's clutches. They didn't want to just sit on 2nd place with no chance for the win. It was a risky strategy.

They always say nothing is stored until their data is breached and they have to fess up. Same as with VPNs a few years ago who logged everything you did via their servers. Forcing some of them to offer customers a no logging policy for any data due to the backlash.
-
Because Friday running showed that the Hards were much slower than the medium. That's why every other team went onto mediums as well. They essentially gambled with Lando, as there was no point sitting behind Oscar doing the exact same thing.

She's Southgate without a Y chromosome basically.
-
They were trying to make up for what Lando lost waiting an extra lap to pit for dry tyres. It was his side of the garage that decided that, not the team.
-
The fact they all moved on to dry tyres with 30 laps to go is the main reason it's now boring. They're all trying to stretch their tyres out to the end so massive tyre management going on. Tyre management is always what kills any racing. I blame Pirelli and the FIA. Force them to make hard compounds that go 30 laps maximum and are a second a lap slower than mediums. Mediums that go 20 laps max and a second slower than soft. And softs that only go 10 laps at full pace but can last 15 with management. You'd see more pit stops and cars pushing more often.

Agreed. The fact that both players had the double for the 9 darter is what made it more entertaining. Can't argue that last night's was a leg of 15 perfect darts though.

I think I read that Proton VPN have seen an upturn of 1400% in sign-ups!
-
A couple of months ago TopCashBack were doing PIA VPN for 100% cashback. I decided to sign up for betting purposes more than anything else, as the new season is coming up. £44 for 2 years and I've already had the money back into my account. That offer is gone now but they are doing it for 73.5% back right now, if anyone still needs a VPN.

August was the date last I heard for the Man City stuff to happen.
-
They also had that ex Man City bloke (Nedem Onouah?) in the studio last week too.

Just finished this. It was excellent cheers. Just as good as The Martian. Have now ordered Artemis.

I watched every single game he played for Wolves in those seasons, and I think I'll trust my eyes rather than a bunch of statistics thanks. He was an excellent player for us, albeit played in a very specific system with two really good defenders either side of him that mitigated his deficiencies. You signed him seemingly without a clue how to use him. You watched him play in two different roles for Wolves then Everton, and chose the one he played shite at for Everton. It's all on your recruitment and managers really. They thought they were getting a solid defender and a captain material. They ignored the fact he isn't good enough to play in a back four. Which is probably why those managers barely ever played him after seeing him in training. And even when they did eventually try him in a back three he had two of the worst PL defenders I've ever seen either side of him.
