  1. Not that gutted if Forest win it. They aren't going down this season, but Palace might struggle (unless Nketiah finds his shooting boots, which doesn't look likely) and we want our rivals to lose. It then leaves the way open for a game-changing officiating howler on Friday that makes Marinakis finally pop a bollock and their fans whinge even more than they currently do.
  2. Ayew is going to get fouled so much against Forest he'll have a cauliflower arse.
  3. Deffo paid 400 for Oasis tickets
  4. That Forest Physio's Wellend! It aint 1998, mate.
  5. Name on the trophy.
  6. It's clear in this thread that people can't see the Woods for the Trees.
  7. MOTD with Brighton's manager instead of gorgeous Stevie Cooper in their graphic
  8. If I had the eyes of an eagle If I had the arse of a crow I'd prob'ly pick Abdul Fatawu And also select Ricardo - cardo
  9. For those of us not at that game: "Allez les bleus, ALLEZ LES BLEUS"
  10. Who is winning the sack race, then? Plenty of pressure on Martin, Lopetegui and O'Neill. I don't think McKenna is under as much pressure, despite results. Ten Hag is maybe one awful defeat away from doom. And for those in here that want Cooper gone, now we've won a couple, he's probably bought himself a bit of time. Fascinating stuff.
  11. Let's not kid ourselves, Ayew totally scuffed that winner
  12. There were a lot of bookings, but I thought most of the yellow cards were fair enough. Ayew's jersey pull might have been a penalty if VAR had any baws, but that's not down to Taylor. And if they gave Ayew's shirt pull, they would have give 20 other penalties like it every week. Our penalty was stonewall, given Vardy's position when he was pulled back. All in all, I don't think the officiating today was all that abominable.
  13. Who gets MOTM? Buenanotte was very good and might take it. But I think you have to give it to Fatawu, even though he was only on for a short while he made a devastating impact.
  14. Last on MOTD tonight, then
  15. How much did Fatawu coming on totally change the game? Must start.
  16. Wow Masterclass
  17. It's looking that one of the worst things to happen to this team was JJ putting in a huge offensive performance against Arsenal, making him undroppable. Defensively he's been one of the weak links this season so far. Nice passing in the last 20 minutes of the half, I suppose, but no shots on target and letting Southampton rampage down their left whenever they want to, it ain't good.
  18. That's a shame for ICT FC. An amount of money that the big clubs in England would consider small change would have saved them. Hope they can rise again.
  19. Chris Sutton, here, with insight so sharp you could cut subatomic particles
  20. Was looking at this story in the Scotland section of The Times : And then I saw this about the "Artist" involved: I'm surprised at the restraint the neighbours are showing, I know a lot of places where Bonfire Night would have arrived a little early.
  21. I was amused by the fact the Die Welt's tweet about the appointment used a picture of Tuchel that screams "Oh shit, what have I DONE!"
  22. Reading this morning about how Tuchel will be the special sauce that gets England that one final step further to glory. Then I remembered Brendan Rodgers beat him in a final in 2021 (OK, OK, City were a bit fortunate with a hairline VAR decision, a worldie of a goal from Youri, Kasper making unbelieveable saves, etc)
  23. You had a golden opportunity to say Fußball and you missed it.
  24. I think I'd rather have Tuchel than Potter, Howe or Dyche. It's yet another damning indictment of our league system where clubs would rather buy German than risk English.
