Spain vs France - Tuesday, 9th July @ 20:00

What's the chat with the boos for Cucurella? I mean apart from the shitebarnet, what's he done that I missed? -
If only it could just finally click and we could give them a right doing, in style, like we did in 1996. However, based on what has occurred so far - , Southgate starts Trippier and instructs him to continue with that stopping and cutting in on his other foot thing, it's tactical gold dust, Southgate also starts an injured Kane and leaves him on for 112 minutes, Foden buzzes about but is largely ineffective, Bellingham strolls about imperiously, shouting at people and pointing, but not doing much football, we have zero shots on target until the 88th minute, it's 0-0 after 120 mins, we have a microscopic xG, and then we go and spawn it on penalties.

England v Switzerland - Saturday 6 July
Vacamion replied to Koke's topic in General Football and Sport
I was out in the pub in the City Centre of Glasgow for the game last night and I didn't see a single Swiss shirt. I actually felt a bit let down, the financial crisis must be biting There were plenty of cheers when the Swiss scored, but quite a bit of noise when we scored, too. -

Going to the pub in Glasgow with friends to watch this. Wish me luck, it could get ugly. And also in the pub. -

Extra time in the Germany v Spain game was a treat, a bonus after a thrilling end to the game. In this game, it's a burden, and there doesn't seem to be much chance of someone scoring in the added period before penalties. -

Dembele coming on and making such a difference just makes you wonder what the hell Griezmann was playing at. -

The game needs a goal.... So extra time and penalties it will be, then. -

See, I think almost exactly this. Then I remember Griezmann cheating that peno out of Marc Albrighton in Madrid and I'm filled with rage again. As such, I vote Giant Meteor. -

You just know this one is going to turn on a controversial Anthony Taylor plus VAR decision. -
Sorry, been working since your post. If the Fashbasts are not, in your opinion fash, I'd take a different view, considering that the party: - concentrates on immigration as it's number one issue - is led by the guy who stood in front of the '"look at all the brown skinned people queueing to get in" poster, who was described in his younger days as singing nazi songs and holding nazi views - has had to, within the last few weeks, kick out several members because their abhorrent views coming to the surface. - has a leadership which is pals with the very right wing leader in the USA who denies the truth and wants to overthrow elections - unlike any mainstream party is funded in opaque ways, as a private company. - has leaders who have previously benefitted from Russian online intervention (Cambridge Analytica, anyone?) and has expressed support for the Big Bad Nationalist in Russia who invaded its neighbour. - seems to concentrate on the most deprived areas of the UK, by telling people that foreigners cause all their problems. I mean, I'm not Hannah Arendt, but they are, at the very least, Fash-adjacent. Oh, and look, I made my answer about the thing we were actually talking about, rather than belittle the other guy's opinion, which you could always try. By all means, try and convince me that my view is incorrectly held, though.

Some countries have a de minimis amount (eg 5% of the vote) that you need to get above before you get any representation. It didn't stop AFD and Die Linke in Germany, though, which is what happens when extremism gains in popularity.
-
14% those Fashbasts got. 1 in 7. I mean, I didn't really like people much before this vote, but at least now I have an excuse.

If it's anywhere near accurate, it's almost as bad for the SNP as it is for the Tories.
