He's not exactly a beacon of reliability, but Alan Nixon is saying he's been sent back. Pretty disastrous move for him overall if it's true.
-
Well if you count Enzo himself and his 'keeper coach, that would be four with this lad. All very worrying. Avoid.

Yeah, just a tongue in cheek comment from me! Sometimes you have to take a calculated risk when it comes to signings - Can be an opportunity for clubs of our size to get higher calibre players in. Could also be an absolutely terrible financial decision like it was with big Bouba!
-
Late 20's with a terrible injury record. What's not to like!
-
Would you? Aside from the top 6 in the PL, there's not a single side in the country I'd 'take a point' against. Definitely not any in this league anyway!

He'll still be available in the Summer, Napoli. Just hang tight!
-
Yeah, that was his best performance for us so far. Promising considering he’s really needed at the moment!
-
Obviously impossible to say if it will translate to the next level… …but he is absolutely quality at this level, I’m sure of it!
-
We need a starter really. Someone who can slot into that ‘high 8’ position pretty seamlessly. That won’t be easy to find in January.
-
...and we were concerned about losing him for AFCON! That is a bit of a blow.
-
Would be interesting to see what he could do at this level I suppose. Best if he just left though.
-
Very on-brand for him then!
-
I know I could Google, but has anyone followed Soumare at Sevilla? Has he done OK?
-
Entitled to your opinion, obviously - But 'far' better?? Not sure what you're basing that on. I don't think Casadei has had a single 'good' game for us... In fact I'd say he's been awful in a few of them!
-
How about the fact that he missed over a month with an injury? ...or that he's played like half the minutes of Casadei? To be honest - I don't **think** he's at the level we want to be at over the next few years, but I can't say that with confidence as we just haven't seen enough of him.
-
That's fair enough - I could also just be blind to it!

I think the 'loud minority' are incredibly harsh on all our players after a few bad games aren't they? Wouldn't have thought there was extra reserved for academy graduates. The ones you mentioned didn't get it any worse than say Soumare, Perez, Tielemans or even Maddison at times last year? Nobody got it worse than big Danny Ward!
-
It's weird, as his final ball whether a shot or cross is sometimes more controlled and measured than even the best attacking players. ...and yet sometimes it's worse than an '06 Josh Low. You just never know what's coming. I guess it's because he's still very new to the position, but it's fun to watch at least.
-
If you think it's been vitriolic on here, you should read the Sheff U fans' opinions on him. I actually think he gets way more leeway from our fans being an academy graduate. Despite the 'weird' post above, most of us are desperate to see our youth come through and go on to be top players - It's one of the most satisfying things in football as a fan!
-
Take whatever we can get and run. He’ll drop down the leagues over the next few years.
-
The highlighted part sums up my feelings on him too.
-
Amazing how many times you have to read posts like this. He was genuinely terrible for nearly two years - At what point are you allowed to write a player off?? His comeback has been fantastic regardless of the level he's playing at, but fans were well within their rights to hope he was moved on at the start of the season. A few on here mentioned that he had been suffering with long Covid along with some personal problems which had a big effect on him. Obviously that would explain the awful performances, but when you're not privy to this as fans you can only really go on what you see on the pitch...
