  1. Smart move
  2. Longleat was great with my then 4 year old last year, recommend. Pepper Pig world we did on the same trip, no words to describe that really.
  3. Not surprised it was cheaper - I usually go in Oct / May latest and it’s scorchio then, August would be unbearable
  4. Can’t use seagrave as an excuse - plenty of clubs around the world have world class facilities - and are successful, it’s the culture I suspect within the training ground. Can’t imagine Real Madrid are slumming it in some crappy facility but they remain hugely successful. It’s short sighted
  5. £3 for a bottle of water, if you switch your brain on you can get one from the shop on the way to the ground for a quid.
  6. Another thread on this - yes some people leave early, yes you are a better supporter if you stay to the end etc etc. People pay their money, let them do as they wish this isn’t North Korea, it’s not that deep. We should start a separate thread for those that go down to the concourse for a £7 pint of piss on 37 mins and return to their seat at 52 mins! As bad etiquette at the football goes that has to be up there
  7. Can you share on YouTube please when he retires
  8. Why would you play JJ out of position and kill VK confidence by dropping him? Doesn’t make sense
  9. Yeh I agree, I think Copper wants his full back to drop into a back 3 with Faes and Vestergaard when backs to the wall, Justin is more suited to that - that’s the only thing I can thing of.
  10. Cream rises to the top, I don’t think it’s a massive concern with a 50 games season, RP will take his chance when he gets it, hopefully that extra competition for his place improves both him and JJ.
  11. I don’t really care about his style this season, the style should be “do whatever possible to stay up”
  12. We have Skipp plus another 1 or 2 to come in ahead of the next couple of games.
  13. That will give the boys some confidence despite all the doom and gloom

    Dogs

Anyone done any gun dog training with their lab or other breed, if so do you have anyone Leicestershire based? Ours at 2 has finally stopped acting like a pr!ck and is turning into a very good dog, but want him to do some advanced training and I don’t have the time to do it myself.
  15. You will get into the ground no problem with your physical ticket.
  16. No he doesn’t know he’s just guessing. For the millionth time there will be a budget signed off by the entire board, including Susan Whelan. A collective budget on wages and transfer fees. He is a director by title rather than Susan Whelan who has to sign off the accounts, if she has no say as a statutory director then the auditors would probably qualify the audit report based on lack of adequate controls.
  17. “No love that is actually my phone in my pocket and I’m not just pleased to see you”
  18. Some locally brewed beer should tickle a few people’s tastebuds on here. The small positive is there is plenty to do for kids by the sounds of it.
  19. FYI our two main strikers are injured, and we haven’t even played a game yet!
  20. I don’t think anyone is “positive” but then again there’s no need for every single post to be ultra negative is my point
  21. Pint of Cobra with a decent curry at the Broadway Bar and Grill with @JonnyBoy Man Utd v Fulham on in the background, for some reason they have 7 small screens and 2 large ones in the restaurant but I wasn’t complaining.
  22. Finished A levels in 2007 with a bang average B and 2 x D. Decided at that point to get my act together. A levels at the time felt like the be all and end all, in reality it isn’t!
  23. There are a group of posters on here who are constantly negative - whether it be managers, ownership, standing, clappers, concourse food, stewards, Jim at the ticket office, ticket cards etc. Whilst I’m not daft enough to realise there are clearly some big issues behind the scenes, we aren’t competitive in the transfer market and we are facing a points deduction - there is no other option really but to get behind the team, if we double down on the negativity then we are screwed. The majority of the stuff discussed is out of our control, as it is in other clubs up and down the country - it feels at the minute we are the worst run football club in world football if you read this forum - if everyone can spare 90 mins every week to get behind the team then I’m sure the players and manager would appreciate it - we might not be able to compete with most of the teams in this league but we can be as good or better in terms of effort and spirit - we by no means had the best team on paper when we won the league in 2016 but the team, fans and manager got it over the line. There will be people that thrive on negativity, not just when it comes to football but life in general - it must be some type of coping mechanism, I don’t understand it. Get behind the lads.
  24. My guess is the club read this forum, see the constant slagging off and do it out of spite, sit back and have a little chuckle. I don’t agree with that btw..
  25. Owen tried to shoehorn the Rudkin question in but he batted it back with a straight bat. Deffo had a telling off mid week.
