  1. Draw away and win at home and we’ll promote
  2. He’s missing the opening game - not 6 months. Get a grip
  3. Are people actually thick? He isn’t going to lob the new striker in immediately- he’s been here a few days. Might have to suffer BDCR today but he isn’t going to be playing up front all season is he??
  4. I reiterate, let’s hope the players and managers don’t have this mindset
  5. We are miles better than these - comfy win. Hopefully the manager nor the players have such a negative Nelly mindset like some of the fan base!
  6. Won’t be this side of Christmas if the teaser has only gone out in the past cpl of weeks
  7. Been discussed a few pages back, non story

    The Weather

It was a bit windy this morning but agree now still, also in Sth Leicestershire
  9. That is absolute tripe and not how it works. They will be running a proper process, even if there is or isn't a ''preferred bidder'' they will be warming up other potential buyers in the meantime, they will want a whole market approach. If they manage to get some other interested parties then that will provide some competitive tension on price and deliverability of the deal etc.
  10. Sums up his form the past 2 seasons
  11. My brother in law got married here - ~35 guests - on a farm in the Crete Countryside - don't think it was mega expensive and all the food served on the day was from the farm, was brilliant. https://www.wedinspire.com/wedding-venues/crete/agreco-farm/

Doesn't seem as hot this time around compared to a few weeks ago, presume it's the humidity and the wind this time around?
  13. Was busy working and couldn’t be arsed to get into a big debate, just gets me banned from certain topics so don’t engage anymore.
  14. Yeh he could be, no idea - I think he would have to have a decent proportion of remuneration going through a U.K. entity without HMRC having an issue, I’ve not looked too much into how many UK entities KP have.
  15. I’m not annoyed about it I couldn’t give two hoots - just explaining how it works, your second paragraph is really confusing - no buyer will “go legal” it will all just be negotiated and settle prior to the deal going through or immediately after. FWIW Most senior managers DO have special terms on their service contracts - enhanced notice, enhanced pension, bonus entitlement, car allowances, LTIP, private healthcare, DIS.
  16. Because he’s on the board and part of the senior management, you will always get a sweeter pay off. If he has his contracted terminated it would be under a settlement agreement. Even though he’s an “employee” he will have a decent set of enhancements in his service agreement, he could easily walk away with 1-2 years money.
  17. Rudkin won’t derail anything. If they weren’t fond they could just bullet him on day 1, effectively rip up his employment contract and settle. Top would have no say over this, there are much more complex things to worry about in the SPA than a director by title.
  18. If his employment contract is with LCFC then no. When they find a buyer it will be a commercial discussion of whether they want to keep x or y person post completion, any compo could just be factored into the consideration they pay - multiple ways of working it. If they are looking to terminate him or others they will be in an easy position to negotiate a gold plated settlement.
  19. Yes it will be sorted by KP.
  20. Nope, more often than not stay on for a period for continuity. Buying a football club is different to a normal ''business'' and if he doesn't stay, or others, they will be getting a bumper pay off - either way its tragic.
  21. He's sorted bus fares, made it easier to cancel netflix and now banning disposable BBQs so he's on the right track
  22. Let's give him 10 games and see, nothing to judge on yet.
  23. I think we need to play who is in form and appropriate for each match, with the target of winning the game in front and accumulating the most points possible. The competition is good, it's such a negative mindset to worry about who will get what game time, we need a competitive squad with players knowing if they don't perform they will be replaced pretty quickly by someone else.
  24. Revamp the Executive structure of the business and put together a team of 6-8 competent people that can deliver on all fronts, and give them the authority to do so. New Ownership will likely just be the financing vehicle, they probably wont be interested in the running of the day to day. This is the single most important thing that needs to happen before we worry about painting seats.
  25. £10m - pants down
