Emotionally comparatively low. In terms of where it would have left us in the Championship and maybe lower for years may just be the most important promotion in our recent history.

This thread is a little too far ahead of itself. Imagine if Ipswich and Leeds don’t slip up and we lose to a wonder goal or two on Monday night. That puts a lot of pressure on us to win on the final day of the season against I side with its back to the wall… All perhaps is unlikely but not impossible.

I was worried we would be winning at half time but losing at full time. The odds of that were 65-1 so I put a fiver or so on it so even if I was miserable as hell that we’d potentially chucked our season away I’d have a bout £350 to console myself with!

Well I’ve watched the match, read the thread and it appears it’s just very difficult to climax when your only hard on is for bitter misery and anger.

And what my thoughts are is that it'll be worth to the PL a lot more than the 33 million extra they are giving the FA for grass roots football in exchange for the soul of the FA Cup. Or have I got that wrong - will the FA get money from that?

Too many games for the big boys to play but pre season tours all over the world. Was listening to David Ornstein the other day who expects the next step will be for the Community Shield to be played abroad as a showcase in places like Saudi.

Did anybody watch the Millwall Huddersfield game? It appeared more like Millwall players were trying to physically injure and also get the Huddersfield players sent off more than play football... we need to be prepared for this approach.
